Maybe Moseley returns?

Congrats to Ben!

I have mixed feelings about Marissa possibly returning. I know Geno and the staff will decide what is best so just my $.02. I think it was great having her on the staff as a "non-UConn" player/assistant, etc. She was a non-UConn tree assistant. I'm sure she brought a different perspective having had experience at other schools.

She went to BU, was an assistant at Denver and Minnesota before UConn, then a HC at BU and then Wisconsin before leaving. I would say she was successful at BU, not so much at Wisconsin. I think her "outsiders" perspective is great, but not sure if Geno wants to revisit that or go in a new direction.

Having said that, he welcomed BOTH Tonya and Jamelle back after unsuccessful HC gigs, so who knows? I trust Geno to know what's best...

Just because somebody may not have success as a HC it does not mean they are a bad coach it more likely reveals they weren’t able to recruit for whatever reason.

Where did I say that in my post?

You need to update your signature. You're missing two National Championships!

Wisconsin for some reason has never managed to have a good women's team even though the men's is always pretty good. Wisconsin is a great school and college atmosphere. Therefore, it has to be a lack of facilities and behind the scenes support that make recruiting difficult.

If it turns out to be Marissa it is at least 'interesting' that it would be a 'reunion' of sorts
for her and Serah.
Serah is probably at UConn because of MM

I’m wondering what happens first…Geno replaces Ben Kantor or Kayleigh Heckel announces where she’s heading? The world awaits…
I could be wrong, but I doubt that Ms. Heckel is heading to Storrs. However, I wish her success wherever she ends up.

BK started as Director of Video Services before his promotion to Asst Coach in 2023.

Looks like Geno is looking to go that route again and not hire a new Asst Coach. This position was posted on May 7th and posting closes on May 13th. They obviously have someone in mind.

Well, I suppose that eliminates grandma DT who is old enough to be Paige's mother. Bisazzaire.
DT clearly stated she would never return to Storrs though that was quite some time ago.

Right, and also they didn't have the support and resources they needed.
