Wow! Thank you so much.................................for not starting a new thread.

 ....really?

On a side note, is there anyone on this board at the same level as me intellectually and find my musings intriguing?

*Waits for the trolls to come out with the inevitable lame response of "no one is at a 6th grade intelligence like you hahaha"

I am sorry but I believe we made a pretty good team look like a good team. This game, of the first 4, was the one that brought the most question marks from what I saw. The close of the first half was a lack of concentration on both ends of the court as well as passion, scary I thought. The rebounding, lack of defense for the most part from either Boat and Bazz was puzzling. Lots of standing around, lots of attempted one handed rebounds from the bigs which didn't result in us getting the ball and usually means they didn't have any position. 2 shots for Giffey?.....have to run some plays for a guy who's that hot!

Sorry but this one, while a win, wasn't pretty at all. I know KO and the staff cannot be overly excited and he didn't look it at all!!

Mich St, UNC, ND, Mich...All of them lost or nearly lost to much inferior competition this weekend. don't act like Uconn is the only team in the top 25 not waxing teams by 45 points every game. We won by 17 points. Later this season we wont even remember this game.

Sorry Gurley but I wish it was just 3 minutes as you say.........the 15-2 run late 2nd half after a 32-13 lead was all BU, beat them to every team rebound, guards made ours look like they were standing still on D and our Huskies became stagnant on O. I don't care who the hell they are playing they will not be good enough to turn the switch on when they want yet acted that way today. yeah they were able to, it was BU so it was somewhat easy. Every big tried to block 15 shots each instead of just staying on the ground and playing solid defense. The guards elect to run out to their guys, especially Boat, not at all under control to guard but instead flying ouut to block shots only to ole' on the way by after a ball fake. It's time to start guarding people and taking defense much more serious, bad habits carry over.

For the first time I didn't like this team's passion and besides DD's offensive game thought there was very little to be happy with. They looked like a ranked team who thought it was going to be an easy game for them on a Sunday afternoon rather than that team with a passion to put them away like Detroit. It's just one game and I am not overly concerned but how many times can the coaches kick their a**es in practice to help them understand how important it is to rebound the basketball?

It's cliche, but they're college kids. Expecting them to completely smother the other team for 40 minutes is just unrealistic. I think every college team in the country goes through stretches in games where their play dips in quality.

It was 37-20 with 3 minutes left in the half.

My point is besides a few good minutes and spurts in the 2nd half they weren't doing things necessary to be "real good". Whatever, they won everyone's happy!

Fair point. It was clearly an imperfect effort. Perhaps the ease of the Detroit game followed by the ease of the first 17 minutes of this one made us relax too much and we were stuck in a battle before we realized it. Also gave them hope/confidence and they started nailing threes for a while at the start of the second half.

That's kinda harsh. Wolff had some good teams for BU.

They stopped getting the top level bball players they used to have. Raja Bell, Awojobi, and going back to Jarvis's days, Gary Plummer and Drederick Irving (Kyrie's Dad). 2 played in the NBA while Awojobi and Irving had European careers.
