Who sits out next year will be an interesting choice.

It's an appealing tournament. Large land grant and private schools vs smaller private schools. Both with rich bb traditions.

Do they create a women's tourney as well?

Has WVU at 14, UConn at 24. He also has Cuse in the late 20s when they will probably be on the bubble (again). This assumes Miles McBride comes back who was a 15/5 guy at the PG spot. Everyone seems to think he is NBA bound and isn't coming back so it should be a very even matchup.

should always be the projected worst team. sorry depaul, get better. but winning these conference challenges helps with perception.

Seem kinda like us. Fringe top 25 team from last year that returns basically everyone but their best player, including a key 5th year eligibility guy returning.

My guess is it is just for the Islanders new arena opening or at most 1 game a year. Part of their recruiting pitch is playing at MSG so it would be silly to start playing at UBS instead of MSG.
 
Maybe close enough to road trip over to Morgantown and get a sizable Husky crowd in the building? 9-10 hours drive factoring in stops and traffic. Not too bad...

Thats good, now we just need a marquee non conference game at home for next season.

But a game vs KU at a new arena is a nice way to break it on. Tait is very reliable on KU news.

Maybe so, but the combination of "USB Arena" and "between Queens & Long Island" didn't inspire confidence that he knows what he's talking about.

First of all, it's the UBS Arena, (named for the largest private banking company in the world), and it is sited in Elmont, NY, which is at the border of the NYC Borough of Queens and adjacent Nassau County, both of which are part of the same land mass that is named Long Island.
