NickDanger, you don't know about BCU? A few years ago maybe more of a decade. Someone said that he's going to Boston College University, it is still used..Who is this "BCU"?

Probably true with any city with professional teams. And I can tell you by living in Boston, Boston College is not even a blip of attention on the sports radar.
I’m sure we will dial up something great. Look how well Brock did with 2 weeks of prep…Our defense will have trouble stopping Duke. We better hope for a nor’easter and 60 mph winds.
but but but - one of their slogans plastered everywhere is "for boston"??And I can tell you by living in Boston, Boston College is not even a blip of attention on the sports radar.
We need play makers on defense badly. I think even the worst Edsall years at least had some playmakersI’m sure we will dial up something great. Look how well Brock did with 2 weeks of prep…

Don't think that's always the case. NYC loved St. John's last year and takes notice when UConn basketball does well. Seattle loves University of Washington football and LA loves USC football.Probably true with any city with professional teams.
Shane Stafford...very good QB...Best QBs in UConn history:
1. Dan O
2. Joey F
End of the list.
JF adding to his repertoire running smartly, without hesitation, and aggressively, has brought him to a whole other level. Can we agree JF is quite excellent recently. Kid is on fire.
I wonder if we had any shot at sneaking in the top 25 if we didn't blow those games. No sense in looking back though, win each game in front of them from now on.I just wish we beat Delaware and Syracuse...now what game is listed as a loss now on our schedule?
UConn probably gets a vote here and there to be in the top 25. But we can't undo the losses. The more important thing they didn't allow those 2 losses to start a downward spiral into more losses. I can't prove this, but I feel like the Syracuse loss carried over to the Delaware game, at least for the defense it did.I wonder if we had any shot at sneaking in the top 25 if we didn't blow those games. We want to be New England’s team- Gene Defilippo.
I think it definitely had an impact on the Delaware game. They had like a 97% chance of winning the Cuse game late before everything fell apart. That's tough to come back from mentally.UConn probably gets a vote here and there to be in the top 25. But we can't undo the losses. As if I care; still beats losing to bad teams.Countdown until the first person says "we just beat a bad team."
The whole way? First Half? LOLDefense stepped up huge in the second half, proud of this team. This was UConn’s game the whole way, and they never let off. Great win on the road in Boston, go huskies!!
AsOMG, what a great result for us. I don't care if BCU had players hurt, they had homefield advantage with their conference refs, and today we were the better team on all sides. Fagnano showing he can ball. I am so happy with this result, and someone said in the chat (sorry, forgot who), one more win makes us bowl eligible. How ironic that our last win after a bye week was also against BCU? Thank you UConn!!!!!
Love this post!I can now die a happy man.
Watched Shane at Memorial while I was a grad student at UConn. He was great.Shane Stafford...very good QB...
If we were undefeated coming off a 2 score win on the road against BC, an absolute demolition of FIU the game before that and had that road win over Cuse to point to as well, I think we would've cracked it tomorrow. If not, we would've had a lot of votes in the RV category. It does sting a bit, since cracking the top 25 is a great way to silence the naysayers.I wonder if we had any shot at sneaking in the top 25 if we didn't blow those games. No sense in looking back though, win each game in front of them from now on.
