But they don’t! That’s the problem with the rule! You may hate the rule, but it is an automatic unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. It is a taunting foul under Rule 9-2-1. Officials are instructed to call it without exception.

Kicked Indianas arse in first ever game at RentschlerI agree… this was a very satisfying win…
Other contenders would have to be upsetting a ranked Houston in 2016(?), the Fenway Bowl win, and maybe beating Liberty to become bowl eligible in 2022.
Terry Fridgen Caulley....Kicked Indianas arse in first ever game at Rentschler
Coaching was off the charts good. On offense the pass first approach I think caught BC off guard and then we ran the ball in the second half just the right amount for clock and ball control. Very well done. The defense made great adjustments in the second half. Once BC was forced to throw more the blitzing packages came constently and BC could never pick-up where they were coming from.
Hats off to Mora and the staff. I'm a little concerned how banged up we are with our RBs, so we'll have
Right before the start of the 2nd Qtr.
It was in the first half, either late 1st quarter or early 2nd quarter. Right after the sideline interview, the Thunderchickens got called for a couple of penalties & the play by play guy said that Coach Mora must be happy with THOSE calls & BC's coach not so much.....
Coached in the SMAC in late 70’s, which is where Terry hails from. Great FB, better athletes down there. Terry and I always had fun talking about Southern MDTerry Caulley....
We beat them home and home. Won a boring defensive struggle in Bloomington in 05 or 06. I seem to remember a pick 6. Maybe Danny Lansanah.Kicked Indianas arse in first ever game at Rentschler
My guess is they all know they should tried to do some more.Did anyone there get an explanation why they play 25 or 6 to 4 after EVERY PLAY?!?!?
For the record, the original post was specifically about post-Notre Dame wins, but this is certainly a big one.Kicked Indianas arse in first ever game at Rentschler
Yes, to '06 in Bloomington. Yes, to a pick 6 by Lansanah. And, yes, to a boring, defensive struggle (a lone rushing offensive TD) for a second W over Hoosiers. Certainly, not the offensive fireworks we have today with Air UConn. We beat them home and home. Won a boring defensive struggle in Bloomington in 05 or 06. I seem to remember a pick 6. Maybe Danny Lansanah.
Is the freshman running back from Scandinavia injured? Thought we might see him yesterday.Hats off to Mora and the staff. I'm a little concerned how banged up we are with our RBs, so we'll have to see on that.
Don't forget baseball, field hockey and soccerGotta love Jim Mora. He is making UCON A football school, to go with Hockey, Basketball.
Bell is going to be drafted high and more kids will listen to Coach Mora and consider U C O N N.
The BC stands were at best half full and i just bought tix for the rest of the year. SAD that BC stinks. NO I AM not.
GO HUSKIES
is this more satisfying than when we beat BC in 2022?Honestly for me this was probably the most satisfying win since we beat ND! Yeah BC is 1-5 and all. But pretty sure most of their fans probably had this one as a win before their next opponent (think ND). Let’s keep it going !
Absolutely. This was a thorough win on the road where we physically looked like the bigger, faster, superior teamis this more satisfying than when we beat BC in 2022?
whose bright idea was it to make Oregon the homecoming game?So did the Big Ten
(a league that has 5 less men’s basketball championships since 1999 than UConn)
Like Crazy Eddie? His prices are insane.I have never hated PC Richard until yesterday. Stan Smith? Flying mattresses? That same song (Thank You by Dido) I used to like.
I was seeing those damn commercials in my nightmares last night.
Probably not a lot. But the optics of losing to Rice would be bad.Of course, but does beating Rice that help "the optics" all that much? Besides being better than losing.
No. Not even close. That was a better BC team, that was the first time we had ever beaten them, that win was crucial for bowl eligibility, which this game hopefully wasn’t, and that game was the second step (after beating Fresno) in learning that the awful decade that preceded Mor was over.is this more satisfying than when we beat BC in 2022?
Joe, Skyler and Cam get most of the love and rightfully so. But I have to once again give some props to Bryun Parham. Another great game for Parham with many impact plays. A guy who has a nose for the ball, kind of like Jayden McDonald. He’s a playmaker and a difference maker and I appreciate him.
Bryun Parham makes PFF National & G6 Team for his effort yesterday:

Is Eddie out of jail yet? He thought paying taxes was "INSANE"!Like Crazy Eddie? His prices are insane.
I agree with everything you just said. For me this was better. This was affirmation that the '22 win and subsequent success and "redevelopment" wasn't flukey. This was almost a surgical win, we had the tools and used them when needed("scalpel, QB sack, Edwards run, Bell TD to crush, etc), and in my mind erases those 2 "Ties" against Delaware and Cuse. We are for real, and with minor weekly improvements on D, health and continued great ST and Offensive, play, sky is the limit!!No. Not even close. That was a better BC team, that was the first time we had ever beaten them, that win was crucial for bowl eligibility, which this game hopefully wasn’t, and that game was the second step (after beating Fresno) in learning that the awful decade that preceded Mor was over.
Doesn’t mean Saturday wasn’t very satisfying.
