He didn't start but had 7 assists. What's interesting is that he didn't play bad at all. Big time games I expected him and/or Lamb to go off.

I just can't figure out his zero points and only 3 FG attempts. Is he 'that' hurt?

While I know that the stat sheet says otherwise, I thought Bazz played a very good game. Ive been on him for his play and decision making much of the season, but I really liked the way he played yesterday, he was looking to push the ball up the court, reduced his dribbling, made looking for other guys to score his priority, there was much more flow to the offense with his fast paced pass first approach. Not saying it was perfect but the offense was much more enjoyable then a lot of games the past few weeks. The beyond the half-court alley oop to drummond was a beauty. hopefully the offensive flow can keep getting better from this game, especially building off of the second half of the game.

You know the kid is playing very hurt - ever try playing on a bad toe? - only cure is rest - and that won't happen until after the season - he needs to take 4-6 weeks off - I can't get on a guy for gutting it out.

He didn't play bad, but we need him to score the basketball. He's one of our best shooters and I would like to see him assert himself more.

He has been a pass first PG trying to create for others and run the offense for the past couple of games which is fine. We might need his scoring for a tourney run though. He had a perfect balance of scoring and creating at the beginning of the season.

he made three bad plays in the game at pivotal times that the team couldve cut the lead to under five or even tied it up but with his poor decisions (bad pass to giff, ill advised 3 from hartford, dont recall the third) the cuse was able to push the leads back to double digits. i dont think its coincidence that he took so few shots and we nearly won the game. when he dishes and looks to pass first we`re a better team. if hes got the open shot i dont mind him shooting but not when hes putting up bad shots.

this team needs more ball movement, I am ok with him getting more assists and shooting less.

Thought Bazz played a strong game versus Cuse.
My one complaint was the very long 3 he took with about 3 minutes left. It was a poor choice, IMO, and it was untimely. But his decision making was solid, and he didn't force up shots, which is fine by me if other guys are scoring, which they were.

Good post, I was thinking the same thing. The less shooting for Shabazz and more running the offense is fine with me.

God forbid he shoots the ball because he hasn't made any big ones for us in 2 years!!!

He had a great game all things considered. Only one bad play, IMO, was the long three. It was just too early in the shot clock to take that shot.

The pass to Giffey was not the best pass but it was a decent decision, just should have been a bounce pass. Would have had a wide open Giffey from three if it had gotten through. The Cuse player did a good job of getting back into position to intercept the pass.

There is plenty of ball movement. Unfortunately, it's around the perimeter and accomplishes nothing. Dribble penetration is what we need.

Didn't know he was hurt, but we definitely need him to score. He always has had a tendency to shoot 3's from way back when guarded closely rather than close to the line but that was way out there.

You know 7 assists is 14 points. It doesn't matter who gets them.
