Baylor leds Ohio St 19-15 at end of 1st qtr. Baylor has led for all of the 1st qtr. Went on a scoring drought to end the quarter. Don't like their Big Lineup. I think it limits their offense.

IMO Ohio State thought they had the bigs to match Baylor and they don't. Mulkey has played 6-7 and 6-4 most of 1st half together!

Baylor leads OSU 38-25 at the half. I'm not impressed with Ohio State. I suppose if Kelsey Mitchell was having a good day shooting, I might change my mind. Kelsey is shooting 2 - 12 with 0-4 from 3 point line.

A lot of that has to do with the Baylor defense. Baylor is playing her tight on the perimeter and forcing her to drive and she is driving right into the land of the bigs and she is having little luck shooting over them are going around them.

Baylor has missed too many shots around the rim, especially Kalani Brown. If Brown had finished more shots Baylor would be up by 20.

Missed technical foul on the Baylor bench. Alexis Jones left the bench before time expired on that last second shot to end the 3rd. It was obvious live and they showed it again on the replay!

Baylor leads 62-46 starting the 4th quarter. Baylor has missed 11 Free Throws, that's going to cost them later in the season if they don't improve.

I dont think people realize how sound UConns game is. They have talent, discipline, and execute on both sides of the ball to a tee. No let up. This is why they are UConn.

I don't understand why she chose Baylor! She will have to play behind Brown/Mompremier for 3 years. Mompremier is by far the most athletic of the 3. She flat runs the floor

Two big surprise blow-outs: Louisville by South Carolina, and Ohio State by Baylor. Neither should have happened.

Clearly, both teams have great talent. We all wondered whether Ohio State would be able to meld all those individual talents into a team. Perhaps we need to give both squads a few weeks to see if they come together. But kudos to Baylor and South Carolina for having their acts together from early on.

As I was watching OSU play, a strange thought occurred to me, imagining these Buckeyes vs. the Washington Huskies.

The event would not resemble a basketball game. More like a game of H-O-R-S-E between two Kelseys (Mitchell vs. Plum) with eight uniformed ball retrievers on the court with them.

The event would not resemble a basketball game. More like a game of H-O-R-S-E between two Kelseys (Mitchell vs. Plum) with eight uniformed ball retrievers on the court with them.

You see this type of basketball when the guards don't have faith in their teammates or the coach does not reel the point guard in.

Both Kelseys are terrific players. They also take honors for time of possession (dribbling, shooting, even occasional passing).
