Baylor Scheierman returning to Creighton

Great news. They could use some serious depth in addition to a PG, then they’ll be right in business.

Great news.

Kalk, Alexander, and Scheierman are better than him but I take Nembhard over Kaluma. I found Kaluma quite disappointing this season. He certainly looks the part but needs to do a ton of work on his ballhandling.

Yup. In the threads scouting Creighton I said “when Kaluma dribbles more than 4 times it usually turns out to be a bad possession for Creighton“.

Cooley is more interested teaching as an adjunct at Georgetown than recruiting this spring.

I know this must have made you so happy to your heart is content. I could see you saying “take that, f%* you Cooley”. Congratulations on retaining Dual. According to ESPN he is #37 among freshmen.

Does your last paragraph mean that the Georgetown and UConn games are sold out? I did not know games were for sale now. I live in Boston so I planned on going to those 2 games at the AMP.

Wow this is huge. Dual is a stud with good pro potential. Also obviously a great sign of English’s recruiting ability.

Yes, all games are completely sold to season ticket holders. As amazing as that is, there is still the secondary ticket market. The other availability is when students are on break. 2,000 season tickets have been purchased by students. They get a reduced price and their tickets are not for when students are on break. Those tickets become available for resale by the school. That was the situation last year with UConn. PC fans will be beside themselves if UConn is scheduled again when on break. Georgetown games falls in the same thing. Cooley will obviously lobby the BE for that but Fox hopefully will override them.

Yeah, English is a revelation. All expectations are that Graham Ike will commit this weekend on or soon after his visit.
 
I came here expecting some Creighton talk.... think they could be preseason top 5 with just one decent guard add in the portal

The biggest loser in all of this for PC is Corey Floyd. No way he starts next year again, and he's looking at 1-2 more years of backing up Carter, Dual, Pierre at minimum. Too bad for him. So sad

I like sharing a conference, but half the state could slide into LI Sound and we would all be better for it. So no, sharing a border isn’t exciting in the least.

You had no one to truly hate while we were gone. I know nova fit the competing bill for sure. But it’s not the same and you know it. Hating is great in sports. And you as a fan base despise us. ( you’re more measured, I’m speaking in a general whole)

True, it wasn’t the same and it is better. Now you have multiple fan bases despising each other. It’s been brewing but this season you started to get some old BE hate going. This off-season? I mean Pitino? Cooley? UConn? Good grief is the Dunk going to be insane, and your fans will enjoy those as well when they come there.

I already am. We are are running back the old BigEast and it’s glorious. PC. St.John’s. GTown. Nova. Lol Syracuse. Enjoy wake and GTech. And poor BCU. you Orange buffoons.

I can tell you, if Villanova SB Nation is reasonable proxy, the Nova fans don't like UConn or their fans either. The Devils Den, the forum for Duke, they were actively pulling for anyone else to win the title but UConn.

That's why I didn't want Providence to crash and burn into irrelevance like they were in 2005-2010. If that happened there wouldn't be any Big East brotherly hate or even dislike towards Providence when UConn plays against them-it would just be pity or even worse apathy because Providence wasn't even slightly on my radar in those years.

A good Providence team means a good New England rivalry which only enhances the profile of the Big East.

Field of 68 will be onsite for the Georgetown game at the AMP. I am still hoping to get tickets to the UConn and Georgetown games at the AMP. I will call the Providence athletic department and cross my fingers. If that doesn't work then I will overpay on a secondary website.

Even when they weren’t on our radar they screwed crap up for us, from Murdock stealing Chris smiths GF to Ryan fin Gomes, screw them. I’m all in on wanting these guys toasted. So is Hurley. He has a healthy respect for their program coupled with a healthy dislike from his days at URI ( they spit on Andrea!) so yeah , stop denying it and let’s let it fly!
