Mulkey needs to take it down a notch or two.... sometimes her intensity hurts my eyes :P

Let's see. Some of endlessly criticized her for not being on the refs enough during the infamous loss to Louisville. If you're gonna do it, gotta do it early in the game to hopefully set a tone for the refs and her team.
It's dumb. You're going to give the other team free throws and the ball meaning a potential 4 or 5 point swing in score?

Really? I have never seen a game where she wasn't bending the refs' ears from the first whistle.

She was on the refs in the Louisville game, and it worked against her.

Now she has to go without the jacket the rest of the game, because she'll look pretty dumb if she puts it back on.

I'm pulling for Oregon State. I like having all these new teams making it deep into the tourney. If Baylor goes down it will definitely be an interesting final four with a bunch of teams that have never been there.

I didn't think that one was a bad call, but to be fair, there have been a couple head-scratchers. Earlier Mulkey almost lost it when one of the Oregon State players blatantly grabbed the hand of a Baylor player to hold her back from going after a loose ball, but the refs apparently didn't see it.

The thing she didn't do in the Baylor game was MAKE ADJUSTMENTS. Ok, they are being physical with Griner? Let's see, you have four other players, including the best point guard in the country. You can't come up with anything else?

Why isn't Davis shooting 15 footer after footer? Force that help forward to move up off #21. I know Geno is taking note.

I was at the Dallas regional the last time Baylor lost there to A&M...wish I could have gone tonight :/

Really nice execution by Oregon State to get that 3 off the inbounds play right before the half.

As long as they keep it out of Johnson's hands and in Jones Oregon St has a great shot of coming away with the win.

WOW. Weisner hits her first 3 at the buzzer to give OSU its biggest lead so far, up 9.

Kim Mulkey is FREAKING OUT.

Oregon State is not pleased with the "Baylor's the heavy favorite" storyline one bit. They're trying to offer a retort.

Still a long half of basketball to be played, though.

Do you know why they were called for a moving screen? Because this team isn't accustomed to screening shooters. They're used to drbbledribble, dump inside. OSU will screen you to death at the high post. Baylor, push up on the perimeter, push through screens, and force these guys inside. Get physical like Texas did to UConn.

From the OSU perspective, everything went pretty much to plan except for the foul trouble (2 fouls each for Hamblin, Hunter and Wiese). The tempo has been very much to OSU's favor.

I'm watching the game, which is rare for me. I do my best to avoid watching Baylor games because of Mulkey's...intensity. It's hard to describe how it feels. Rebecca mentioned it in regard to the Baylor players needing a stable force at times, especially in a game like this where the pressure is really on. They are already in a bit of a frenzy and the players match that, sometimes to their detriment. That frenzy feeling always manages to get to me a bit. So...needless to say, I'm rooting for Oregon State so I don't feel this way on Sunday :)

I figure the blouse comes off in the second half.

Mulkey is rightfully disgusted with the quality of the officiating. But this is WCBB, and she should expect the bizarre whistles and incomprehensible no-calls.
