I thought Baylor had more team speed than I saw in that first half.

They do have speed but they only created maybe 2 live-ball turnovers to get in transition. Their quickness and pressure on defense is definitely bothering OSU, but most of the OSU turnovers have been dead balls to Baylor.

Mulkey shouldn't react like that. It was ironic because there were calls that were much worse than the (correct) no call on Davis's drive. But she chose to lose her on that one. Doesn't give her much credibility with the refs.

Mulkey is rightfully disgusted with the quality of the officiating. But this is WCBB, and she should expect the bizarre whistles and incomprehensible no-calls.

Other than the missed hand-grab, I haven't seen anything else to justify her disgust. OSU should be equally disgusted with the 2nd foul call on Hunter, which was a phantom foul if I ever saw one.

The guy ref is Kyle Bacon who does a ton of Pac 12 games. IMO he is horrible, or at least horrible every time I see him. Refs did miss Weisners hold of the Baylor players wrist going for the loose ball. OSU, is packing the paint and hitting 3's. Avoid fouls and avoid a "big" run and they win this game.

The problem with Mulkey is that EVERY call is a bad call. You can't stop and yell for ALL of them. I'm surprised she hasn't had either a cow or a heart attack on the sideline.

Another key in the 1st half was that OSU got a significant offensive contribution from someone other than Weisner-Wiese-Hamblin.

Does Oregon never run a double screen? Or for that matter a hard screen?

Kim Mulkey is content to try and let Jones win it by herself... who would've thunk it?

If UCONN were down at the half like Baylor was ESPN would have been screaming and yelling upset. No such talk in this game.

It's a pretty sparse crowd considering a TEXAS team is the 1 seed.

With Hamblin on the bench with 3 fouls, Baylor now getting easy layups and putbacks. And now, a turnover and bucket on the press.

I can't see Oregon State hanging in there much longer. Baylor just too athletic for them.

Prehaps the Or St. coach should get a T. His team is getting the short end now

Weisner is tough.

Four on Hamblin now. That will change things.

Hamblin is a senior? In every game I see of OSU she sits 60% due to fouls. You have to let them have the 2.

As bad as that quarter looked for Oregon State, they're still up by 1. If they can, somehow, start making some outside shots as they did in the first half, they've got a puncher's chance. Otherwise, it just seems like this game is going in the wrong direction for them, and their offense hasn't looked very good for a while now.

Boy can anyone else for Oregon hit a shot or even take a shot other than Weisner?

Neither of these teams really scares me. Baylor has no outside game whatsoever, and you have to be able to hit threes to keep up with UConn.
