Was UConn FBS playing the Ivy? Those are records of FBS level school's seasons.

And lose
If I recall correctly, UConn started winning in the 80's, but the series started in the 60's (I think) and Yale almost always won at the beginning. They always played in the Yale Bowl and it seemed like Yale got all the calls.

The site specifically shows a result from 1979. UConn was 1-AA, I'm pretty sure Yale was too. There was no FBS back then.

I believe 1966 or there about was the first win for UConn. I have friends who played on that team. Vic Radzevich, Steven Smith, Tony Cassarella come immediately to mind.

We were tailgating at the Aircraft Club with Steve at the last or next to last home game for Todman and Sherman (Rutgers?). Some guy stopped by and started talking to Steve. He had played for UConn starting a year or two after Steve graduated. He remarked they were lucky to have had hot water in the showers. Steve shot back with mock envy, "Oh, you guys had hot water?"
