Baylor AD says there is the possibility that the right G5 school could get pro rata

UConn vs Conferences...

ACC....6-17
Big 12...3-2
Big 10...2-5
CUSA...2-4
SEC.....2-5
MWC...0-4
Sunbelt...0-1
Ivy........1-1

MAC.....17-8

MWC…1-4

MWC...losses to Fresno State, Wyoming, Boise State, Boise State.....2014-2021....

There doesn't seem to be a win in the record for UConn....who was the "W" and what year...the data base isn't showing it.

Last year. Fresno State.

We are aware of the record during the dark ages of UConn FB. They did not play in 2020. In 2021 they were 1-11. And last year they had three blowout losses to go with their 6-7 record. Your point?

Why don't you compare that time period with 2008-2010?

OK...you want a three year historical period that was better...that make you feel better?

2008-10

Cherry picking a few years doesn't tell one much other than it was a good run...I can pick a three year period where Boston College won 11, 10, and 9 games...2005-2007.

Maybe you should go to a Boston College website and tell them about it, in case they forgot.

The AAC did not exist during that time period.

I'll try to find an email for Stassen's site....it appears that he combined the football schools of the BE and loaded them under AAC for UConn's record.

LOL...It has been a while...but, heck, they still talk of Flutie...like I reminisce about my 20's and single days.

For me..the Mahler quote applies to sports teams...

Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.

Flutie was in college when I was. Liked him and BC back then. One of the tight ends that he threw to often went to HS with me, he set a TE receiving yards record against Penn St, I don't know if it still stands.

Teams climb, teams decline, climates change.

For everythig there is a season...and I have vowed that I will remember my team of the past but won't be that aging spinster going through her scrapbook with misty eyes, fingering an old dessicated corsage from her glory days.
