No question about the magic of Storrs, CT. And... if you draw a sort of a circle beginning with New Haven and Hamden, CT, continuing up 91 to 84 to the Mass Pike around on 495 back eastward around (no apology for calling it) Boston Garden and on south at least far enough to include Foxboro before heading back to New Haven... and that perimeter includes some pretty magic geography for championships!

Willimantic used to host the duck pin bowling championships. I played it there as a kid.

Trivia fact- in the 100 years that the game has been played, there has never been a perfect score of 300. The closest is 293.
