Unreal, gets the first two guys out on 4 pitches then the inning comes unglued. Slade also comes in and can't get the job done. Now all the missed opportunities on offense come back to hurt. This team never makes anything easy.

Anyone know what is up with Olmstead? He was a high draft pick, they redshirted him last year but surprised we are not seeing him yet considering the production we are getting from Testani and Griffin hasn't been there.

Guessing both teams aren't in mid season form yet -
>>Moving Backward: Another year, another set of FAU base running mistakes. After making three critical mistakes on Saturday, the Owls made another on Sunday when Brett Lashley walked off first only to be tagged out by the first baseman, who hadn't yet thrown the ball back to the pitcher following a pickoff attempt.<<
I always have to remind myself of this. You are able to watch a ton of college basketball on TV so you don't expect every open shot to go in like you would in the NBA because you just see that the college kids fail far more often. When you only follow a few college baseball games per week and it's just one team, it's easy to forget that errors in the field and on the basepaths are far more common.Yes, it sounds like college baseball to me.

Granted UConn does seem to have more trouble with these things than other teams but it's not as if every other team is playing mistake free baseball. Outside of the Top 25 this is basically what college baseball looks like. Doesn't make it any less frustrating though.
