It’s cool to have them come.. more eyes on UConn but no court storm. Beating the #21 team does not deserve a court storm. Especially coming from UConn. It was sad when RU did it after beating the #9 team too. I’m hoping for a huge win but court storms should be reserved for beating the #1 team in the nation IMO.

Normally I’d agree except 1) what a memory that would give Vital and Gilbert, to end it with the embrace of students would make my heart full
2) recruits dig this stuff.

I I was just going to post something similar. Give the students each a piece of 80 grit sandpaper and tell them to storm the court, go to the AAC logos and sand them off the court. That would be a great viral video!

I’m a student, and I understand the historical implications for why we shouldn’t.

At the same time, as a senior I’ve been at UConn for the worst 4 year stretch across all athletics in like 35 years. Haven’t had much to celebrate, other than like the Syracuse and Florida wins. Meanwhile literally every class since the class of 89 has seen at least 1 tournament appearance and has gotten to enjoy that. Hell, I haven’t even seen the women PLAY in a national championship game.

So if I wind up celebrating on the court after my final game as a UConn student, I’m not going to complain.
