Ball, Bray and Stew....

Will be so weird seeing Stew in a new uni too. Will be the first time we see a kid that’s been a true valued member for 3 years be elsewhere like this.
There are still a lot of us who are either fans of the portal or at the very least neutral on it- but we havent had to really go through the worst of it.
If we only return 4 of our 8 eligible guys, some of who are true blue, then let's see how we feel.

1 year bits don't really apply, we've had some transfer outs - Mahaney, Alleyne, Abraham, Nowell, etc. But they all felt like bit players, rentals. Kids like Stew and Solo would not.

Sure - but it may have also helped his draft stock. Doesn't matter - psyched he's back, and will be curious to see how he becomes the face of CBB. We haven't really experienced anything like it - the Hurley train keeps motoring. Guy has really been a jewel to this program.
One shot has no impact on a persons draft stock. No matter how big of a shot it was.

I wasn’t going to post this because I’m not trying to hate on Solo, but here’s an interesting final season stat I noticed…
Ball took more threes than anyone on the team, by a lot (257 attempts). That was 51 more attempts than second place Karaban (201). Ball also had the worst three point percentage (30%) of all nine rotation players, except Reed (who was 0-4).
You may want to look at the news and take this back @Thirty Three

How many times do people have to be told, his shooting wrist was damaged all year?
The better question is why was he allowed to take 51 more 3pt attempts than anyone else on the team while he had a messed up shooting wrist all year?! Doesn’t seem like a good strategy doc!

We made the national championship game and he was our second leading scorer............

Why in God’s name would he take it back? He didn’t even make a point, he just shared some shocking statistics.

The coaching staff never should’ve let Solo throw up so many bombs on an injured shooing wrist. Now he’s out for the entire upcoming season.

Take what back? Him shooting that much was detrimental to the team. HE WAS INJURED! There should’ve been concerted efforts to find other ways for Solo to impact the game.

I’d argue this was among the most important post season stats anyone could’ve shared about this team.

Shot, by far, the most 3s while having the worst 3pt %.

I’ll conclude by saying 2027 healthy Solo Ball will be an absolute menace to college basketball.

Yeah, he got really clutch driving and finishing at the rim and hitting mid to close range shots. He’s a stud.

He shouldn’t have been throwing up so many out of rhythm bricks from well beyond the 3pt line though. Just my opinion.

I admit I messed up by saying what I said. I shouldn't have
Golden opportunity missed! 🙂
