She had a special night. But if I see a single "Naheesa for NPOY" post because of the one game... I'll Head bang

Excellent game for Danger. And Gabby filled up the stat sheet too. Also nice to see Saniya drain some 3's.

You gets no argument from me on this Kib.

How dare the mid-season voters leave Pheesa off the top 20 award list. She is a top 10 player right now.

Naheesa? Nah. Never heard of her. Now, Napheesa is a great player. Totally deserves to be named NPOY! I'll call 911...somebody is about to hurt his head...

Napheesa is the award winner. 39 points + 12 rebounds = Napheesa's highest scoring game, and another double-double game.

I said this the other day but even tho I believe Kelsey Plum hauls in the majority of POY awards, I do think Collier has a chance at a POY at some level (at least the Conference) AS LONG AS she pushes her teammate contenders out of the way. What I mean is she needs to dominate every game going forward and make it clear she is top dog, over KLS and Gabby.

One down, 3 conference games to go. Averaging 30+ and a double double just might secure something for her.

And if not no biggie! Well deserved for Plum and we have 2 more years with Pheese!

Great game for Pheesa
Would like to see her a strong runner-up to Plum
Andy described it perfectly...great analysis of the system that allows Collier to thrive.
He had a great night as well.

Per Rebecca, Pheesa should be named to the final 10 list.

She just skipped right over the final 20 list

You mean Lou's offensive board isn't enough?
I recall that offensive board. ;)

Crystal went to the hoop on a breakaway, one defender running with her. She missed the layup, but Lou snagged it and scored on the putback. The reason she was there as the "fast break trailer" was that she had just run 70+ feet up the court to be ready for an unlikely rebound. And the putback. All hustle, UConn style. :)

Can you image next year,
Napheesa, Katie Lou, Gabby and Kia ?
Could be the best combined FOUR in UConn history ...

Is it me or have her shoulders gotten bigger lately?
I thought she looked thin next to Kara. KLaw was looking quite svelte the last couple of years of her career, but she may be above her playing weight now (as is almost everyone except Ray Allen).
