I agree. All the state publics bar Uconn shouldn't have sports as they are commuter schools. It would save a lot of money and it's not like Central is getting a lot of notoriety for its sports.
CCSU has 12k+ students and more than 5k on campus.
This is why no one likes UConn - you have squandered millions of state funds on FBS football, facilities and coaches salaries and now have nothing to show for it - as you are in a league with East Carolina!
Central Connecticut is no different than Towson, yet Marland can keep the Terps and find the $$ for the Tigers (as well as UMBC).
When you are playing in front of 12k at the Rent and 6k at the Civic Center, don't bather asking for State funds - it is a waste of taxpayer dollars!
