We as a team looked really good. I thought at the start we playing very fast and took good shots but took them a little to quick. We showed better poise and started hitting those shots later on. Serah showed signs of improvement. Serah missed a couple of bunnies then slowed down a bit and didnt rush her shot and looked confident. Heckel is really good. Composed, full of energy and leaves everything on the floor. She was looking to score and did. KK and Heckel are solid at the point. Caroline looked like the Caroline we all hoped for. She maintains that play and she will see alot of minutes.

In the 3rd and 4th qtr when Geno played the non starters and they looked a little lost he brought in Heckel and she got them goin. The execution and ball movement improved and we got goin. Yana played well too. I was glad to see Allie get more minutes. We need to get her scoring, we need more scorers who we can count on especially from deep. Ice looked confident too. Was not afraid to shoot it when it presented itself. Jana is playing better. She needs to get on the path she was on before she got here and that path was controlling the middle and scoring inside and out.

We scored 99 pts and Sarah and Azzi score almost half of them. Heckel was in double figures too. Those were the only 3. We need to get Shade and Allie scoring more and with confidence. It will happen. Our defense is better then last season. Its hard to describe because there are so many adjectives to describe it. One thing is for sure. With our quickness it is gonna be hard for any team to feel comfortable shooting the ball.

We score 99 pts and our starters sat for about a quarter and a half. Thats amazin. In the past UConn beat many teams by alot. Today they did it against a pretty good team with everybody playing significant minutes and the starters sitting out over a quarter. That tells you how good we are and more importantly how good we are gonna be.

As always, I agree with every statement you made to a T Your sense of the game is amazing and you're articulate also. I have GREAT HOPE in Caroline playing like she did as a Freshman and was very happy with her game. 2 down......38 more to go. GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!GO CAROLINE!!!!!!!! Our favorite team boasts so many potential offensive weapons that even when the perimeter game is lackluster, as it was vs L'ville, or improved as it was vs FSU, we fans have little to worry about on that end of the floor. I tend to focus more on team defense, partly because that's the component that wins the biggest games for them, and that's the area wherein Geno always exerts the most influence. I complained a bit after the L'ville game that Geno wasn't taking sufficient advantage of his bench strength to utilize full-court pressure and force more turnovers. In that regard, I thought the effort vs FSU was much better! ..lots of fresh legs on the bench...why not use thaem?
