Interesting take on the USC vs. Notre Dame rivalry.....

The combined record of USC's opponents is 106-53 – a .667 winning percentage that includes road games at Michigan and Washington – last year's CFP championship game participants. Penn State is another 10-win team on the schedule, and USC ends conference play with a road game at rival UCLA. Then, they have to play yet another 10-win team in Notre Dame. That gets to the heart of Cowherd's argument about the rivalry with the Irish.

Cowherd expanded on his thoughts on the future of the Notre Dame-USC rivalry with the Trojans' move to the Big Ten.

"You want to join the Big Ten, Notre Dame, then I'll play you," Cowherd said. "But I got Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State … Camp Randall, Columbus, Eugene, Husky Stadium. Then I got my rival at the end of the year. Then I got the conference championship. Then I got the 12-team playoff. I'm punting Notre Dame out of respect for Notre Dame."

You got 43 programs spending between $2.8 mill to $5 mill. Then the top 21 spending $5.5 mill to $10.6 million: 13 SEC, 5 ACC, 3 Big 12. It would be interesting to see the number of coaches and their salaries per program.

Interesting that UConn shows up again even though the cutoff is 64 and you have programs like Oregon State, Washington State, Coastal Carolina, Wichita State, Tulane, Rice, Louisiana, ECU on the list.

Beating Maryland isn’t going to get you into the B1G but it will open some eyes .
I just hoping for create interest from both the ACC and B12 which puts into a position of strength not the hat in hand begging posture we normally take.

It won’t do anything on its own.

What we need is several season of exceptional performances. 7,8,9 win seasons.

If you are a Power 4 conference and you are looking to add you at least should add a team that has proven it can get it done at a G5 level.

Wins against a P2 team are a bonus. But beating someone and only winning 6 or less games won’t impress anyone.

B1G released its women’s soccer schedule. Each school will play 11 of the 17 other schools.

The PAC schools all play each other, leaving 4 home and 4 away games against the rest of the conference. Teams have travel partners. So Washington, for example, will have 2 trips east to play 2 teams on each trip. Trip 1 - Rutgers and Maryland. Trip 2 - Iowa and Nebraska. These are Thursday/Sunday games to minimize time away from class.

The PAC schools traditionally had at least one trip east in the non-conference perviously, so this isn’t much different.

So much time back east. The horror! lol

Speaking of Washington, the Huskies seem tickled at having 3 games air on NBC in primetime in the east.

And that is a good thing. UConn had a very good team this year winning the Big East. I would have expected higher attendance.
Like pros people only watch when the playoffs begin.

Not sure I understand your point. Other college baseball teams had significantly higher attendance. UConn baseball team was winning and the attendance was well less than 1,000 per game.

Tally it up by date/game/opponent.

Look through the attendance rankings, see where the warm weather is and then note the correlation between nice weather and baseball attendance.

Start the season April 1st and the northeast teams could lead in attendance.

Wow you’re a genius. You could use the same argument for football in the northeast as well.

Wow, Kansas was a founding member of AAU but has slipped badly. Next out?

Kansas is fine, their profile is as good as UConn's and they have history on their side.

The ones that look weak by this metric are Brandeis, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, and Oregon. But Brandeis was only recently added. So looks like the AAU is using other metrics.
