That is the most relaxed I've ever seen Azzi be in an interview, which is surprising given the setting. Usually she comes across as guarded and a bit tentative. I loved the banter. She looked like she felt she belonged in the spotlight.

I imagine this is "part" of the reason for Fudd not to go into the WNBA this year. (besides Geno's you have more to accomplish here reason)

A year from under Buecker's shadow, Fudd will be able to build her own brand up quite a bit before going into the WNBA.

Didn’t take long for Azzi to seize the baton from Paige. It is Azzi’s team now and if she stays healthy, will thrive both on and off the court.

I've always thought Azzi was composed and thoughtful with her interviewing. I wasn't surprised with how well she handled the interview on GMA.

Azzi already has plenty of endorsement deals, even with Paige on the team. I'm sure she'll have even more in the future.

Azzi’s off-the-cuff remark that, “Coach does not hand out compliments easily or often,” was delivered perfectly and broke up the entire GMA crew.

Not hitting her 3's showed the country what a great baller she is in creating her own shot. Pull-ups and drives made me think of Paige. Now we know, she can do what Paige can do if given the opportunity. Next year, she will take over games, with her new sidekick, Sarah Strong.

Yes, but Azzi clearly had her hair done by a hairdresser and I think that look takes some time. Although, having no hair of my own on the top of my head, how the hell would I know?

So my really smart wife just suggested the source of Azzi’s new hairstyle is Madison Reed. Obviously, Madison Reed is a big NIL backer for UConn WBB and they have a location in NYC complete with beauty, makeup, hair color and hair stylist professionals.

I've always noticed that about Azzi - she has a smooth, soft, and melodic delivery - not the least bit harsh or irratating.

I must say that I have always found one thing about Azzi and her family amusing. Azzi is the epitome of poise with a reserved maturity that is quite impressive. Tim and Katie Fudd are loving supportive parents who are unabashed extroverts when it comes to watching their daughter play.

Tim high-fives everyone in sight when he’s not dancing or blowing one of those giant horns, as he did during one of the FIBA championships. Katie is yelling her support as well, while wearing a T-shirt that’s bound to get some attention.

We all get a little crazy watching our kids play sports. But the contrast between Azzi and her parents is something else.
