Yeah I agree. And also touche on it's just practice. I know I'm going to watch it 1k times and break it down way too much. In my head I'm like I think Azzi may have had the better team so, head up Sarah.I know it is just practice, but team grey looks pretty good and good to see Azzi being very vocal.
If that Azzi shows up this season, I’m not sure anyone can run with the Huskies.Last night, I watched the Texas - UConn game from Azzi's sophomore year. It was the second game of the season, before Azzi sustained her season ending injury. In the second half, she put the team on her back and really put on a show, dominating the entire second half.
Azzi was terrific in the Texas game. I distinctly remember her giving Sonya Morris (ex-DePaul) the Derek Henry stiff arm, dribbling the ball behind her back, and sinking the shot. You said practice will be "fiscal," is that because of NILLast night, I watched the Texas - UConn game from Azzi's sophomore year. A healthy Azzi with Sarah, Serah and most likely the deepest team in Geno's entire UConn career will give Coach many different options pertaining to the style of play of the opposition. They have the versatility to play any style of basketball. I believe we have had teams with a deeper 1-5, but I don't know if we have ever had a team as deep 1-15 as this one. Practice will be fiscal and grueling. Can't wait to see them in action.

Probably because you were counting your money at the time. Not sure why I typed fiscal instead of physical. But I’m old and surely not as sharp as I used to be. Hopefully you all got my drift.

She looked more fluid than I remember. Great to see.Seeing Yanna out there making good plays is making me smile, she truly was such a gifted athlete coming out of high school so I have always wanted her to reach her full basketball potential.
She has the athleticism of Aubrey in a significantly larger frame. It’s just a matter of improving her ability to finish around the rim and then she’ll become a staple of the transition offense. Geno seems to love having bigs who can run the floor in transition and if Ayanna gets minutes next to Sarah he could have two more. And if Serah has the mobility to run in transition he might have a third. Ice has the speed to run the court but she doesn’t seem to have the finishing skills, and Jana needs to improve in both areas. But Ayanna is perhaps the most athletic player on the team.Seeing Yanna out there making good plays is making me smile, she truly was such a gifted athlete coming out of high school so I have always wanted her to reach her full basketball potential.

I'm 77 and I see my mind floating away!
Well,, maybe only from Swedish fans.I can see there will be some confusion between Jana and Yanna.
Team Blue must be good too- Caroline, Sarah, Serah, KK, who else?Team Gray looked pretty good. Great to hear Azzi talking it up out there. Yanna, like others have said, look pretty good out there in these clips. Thanks for sharing these clips with us fans.
It looked like Allie Z and the freshman (Kellis and Gandy) were on that team. I think it was pretty balanced, although it kinda looked like Azzi dapped up KK and she was wearing gray at the end.Team Blue must be good too- Caroline, Sarah, Serah, KK, who else?
Absolutely. We are going to see a more aggressive, determined Azzi taking a leadership role on the floor in 2025-26. She has worked through injuries and is more than ready to show everyone that she is a lot more than just a 3-pt shooter. Take a look again at her defense in the FF. She was relentless. 2024-25 was Paige's time. 2025-26 will be Azzi's. NPOY? We'll see.Put her basketball skills aside for a minute: That is a different Azzi out there...talking/
teaching/motivating/a lil' sass thrown in....I love it!
