Coaches and players complaining that UConn is impossible to beat will be music to my ears.
Stephan Curry ( two-time NBA MVP ) says Azzi's jumpshot is one of the top three in the world, men or women. Pros and amateurs. Should work. From what I understand, according to Evina she has a very sweet stroke when she shoots the threes.
As you know, UConn has signed #1 in four out of five years. Meg is gone, Christyn hasn't quite peaked, this year Paige gets her shot. Azzi is like a fine dessert: a bit too rich to be believed. This is a remarkable collection of not only talent but of really great people. The year we didn't get #1 is ironically the year we missed out on what we most needed: a dominant big.Thank you Jesus. This was worth the wait!!! A special shout-out and a BIG thank you to Paige Bueckers. Job well done! Another shout out to Geno and his staff for their relentless pursuit and signing of the number 1 rated recruit (and special person) in this class. Again..................job well done!!

I was talking about Autumn not Azzi. Need to see what the person I responded to was talking about. Although you are correct about what Steph Curry had said about Azzi, which is great for UConn fans.Stephan Curry ( two-time NBA MVP ) says Azzi's jumpshot is one of the top three in the world, men or women. Pros and amateurs. Should work.
Now that the Fudd decision saga is over, I feel it is imperative for me to start the official Azzi Fudd height debate. Going by this picture, if Fudd is 5'11 then Bueckers is at least 6'2.

You'all are funny.Yeah, behind the steering wheel.![]()
So Magruber, I went back and saw that your post guaranteeing that Azzi was coming to UConn was posted on October 22.
The ESPN article recounts how Azzi decided to come to UConn while driving up to UConn with her parents in a minivan - on October 22.
How about that.
So, I`m guessing that
1. You are a psychic,
2. You bugged the van,
3. You were hiding in the van,
4. It was an educated and reasonable guess with oddly coincidential timing, or
5. ??????
Hmmmmm?

Sadie Edwards is a graduate assistant in Indiana now. Too bad she has the talent but cannot play in WNBA.Sadie Edwards was ranked 17 / 8 / 9 / 6 by ESPN, Prospect Nation, Blue Star & ASGR respectively.

The other two players he mentioned are both UConn; Ray and MayaStephan Curry ( two-time NBA MVP ) says Azzi's jumpshot is one of the top three in the world, men or women. Pros and amateurs. Should work.
It's the camera angle. Paige is maybe 1' taller and is 5'11" to perhaps 6'0".Yeah, somebody is being disingenuous here. They appear to be standing next to each other with Paige maybe 6 inches closer to the camera, (based on where their shoes are) and neither is slouching or leaning over.
Paige appears to be at least 3-4 inches taller that Azzi. If in fact Azzi is 5-11, Paige is a minimum 6-2. Notice the height difference in their shoulders. That's a good thing......a tall guard. I see a lot of mismatches for UConn opponents in the near future. 6-2 guards are rare.
Ray Allen and Klay Thompson. The other two players he mentioned are both UConn; Ray and Maya
I don't know who Magruber is, but he is more reliable and more welcome than Dolphan!Maybe Magruber is Stewie the pup's alter ego.![]()

But that's oddly the history of the Huskies. We get wonderful players and keep looking for a dominant big. Well, that's what a heaven is for . . . I feel super.

‘She’s an even better kid off the court’: Getting to know Azzi Fudd, the latest No. 1 recruit to sign with the UConn women
Jonathan Scribner’s earliest basketball memories of Azzi Fudd date back to when she was in sixth grade or so, and would attend his open gyms at St. John’s College High in Washington, D.…www.courant.com
By coincidence, I sat behind Coach Scribner's mother at a game 2 years ago. She raved about what a sweet kid Azzi is and how much her teammates love her.
As I've said before, we are getting a uniquely talented basketball player and a truly wonderful person to represent UConn and the sport. Welcome, Azzi Fudd! You will be a Husky for Life!
I have not stood next to Azzi. Not yet. But if SJC has a season, I'll ask her. Now that she has signed, I can talk to her within the rules.Milford, was you or SluConn husky that commented that you stood in proximity of Azzi and that in your opinion, she is a legitimate 5-11?

I don't know who Magruber is,
Sadie Edwards is a graduate assistant in Indiana now. Too bad she has the talent but cannot play in WNBA.
I followed Sadie the entire time she was here (USC). Even went to a home game during her time there. The team was average at best. No, simply not true at all. You can look any number of really good "coaches" who struggle with getting "elite" recruits and many really good recruiters who underdevelop them and thus underperform.Recruiting in men's and women's Division 1 college is critical. Recruiting is the life blood of a college program. If you can pull in talented players year after year, your program should be able to compete with any other team at your particular level (elite, top 25, mid-major etc.). If not, you quickly become a bottom feeder in your conference, having difficulty reaching .500 every year.
Just remember, you keep shrinking a 1/4 inch each year after 70 so what used to appear 6'2" may really be 5'8"...I have not stood next to Azzi. Not yet. But if SJC has a season, I'll ask her. Now that she has signed, I can talk to her within the rules.
I have stood next to Saylor. She's a full 6'2", as Road Warrior has attested.
