Ok, I like that they are trying to generate "buzz" and have people interested in WCBB but this list of 25 is excessive. Here is a more realistic list of 9 based on actual performance, media and team success:
1. Sarah Strong
2. Madison Booker
3. Joyce Edwards
4. Mikayla Blakes
5. Audi Crooks
6. Lauren Betts
7. Azzi Fudd
8. Kiki Rice
9. Rori Harmon

Is Azzi playing herself off of All American consideration? Since the Iowa game… I know that being chosen isn’t just based points. It’s all around play. Her defense is top notch. But it would be great to see her play like she did against Iowa. Maybe she will hit the 20 point mark on Thursday against Villanova. WBCA has 20 players and she is definitely one of the top 20 players in the country.

Butler - 13 Points
Providence - 18 Points
Seton Hall - 16 Points
St. John’s - 16 Points
Creighton - 14 Points

Some notable names that probably should've made the list include:
Ava Heiden - Iowa
Marta Suarez - TCU
Madina Okot - South Carolina
Shay Ciezski - Indiana
Tonie Morgan - Kentucky
Oluchi Okananwa - Maryland
Toby Fournier - Duke
Britt Prince - Nebraska
Taliah Scott - Baylor
Sayvia Sellers - Washington

Question for me is, is UConn WBB better when Azzi gets more shots? I say emphatically yes. I watched the Final 4 last year probably 5 times each. They had 3 superstars last year. Azzi is an 8-0 run waiting to happen.
Who shoots the ball is a decision the team makes. 15-18 shots a game. A bad game, she makes 8 shots, 4 of them are 3s and she goes 4-4 from the line. That’s 24 points. Gotta happen. Every game.
