The Huskies--as in, 14-12 Washington Huskies?Your Huskies still right at bubble. Good finish & Big10 tourney and you may be in. Need to hope for no bid stealers.
?.......hummmm......the NCAA ......... interestingInstead of you all wasting your time on who's AWFUL, maybe you should try to help fix the problem by writing the NCAA and have them put some guidelines on NIL, the Portal and Conference realignment?
@cancontentLatasha Lattimore (played for Miami last season and the year before that) is averaging about 15 ppg and 9 rpg for UVA and has another year of eligibility (if she wants to use it).
Appreciate the insight. She needed some tough love from someone. From what I remember during high school and AAU, she was coddled. Not sure if she has any more eligibility. Thought Miami would apply for an exemption when she suffered the ACL when she first transfered there but her profile doesn't reference her being a redshirt.@cancontent
Lattimore has been effusive on how UVA's Coach Mox has been straight forward and tough with her. Since a non-appearance during the ND game, Lattimore has played very well. Coach Mox should advise her to hang around Charlottesville one more year to get better and build up her skills/resume for the 2026 draft that will have two more teams choosing (after a new CBA deal).
From an opposition standpoint, I've also been perplexed and a bit disappointed in the "Cuse this year.Syracuse is a huge disappointment this season after what they did last year. Watching them consistently lose winnable games to “lesser” teams has been exhausting. They just look completely lost out on the floor. Not sure how much of that is on the coaches and how much of it is on the players (and their talent level/basketball IQ).
What a shame. I’ve been regretting my season ticket (with floor upgrade) purchase since November.
Not sure what it will take to right the ship.
Greg McCall also DeWanna Bonner’s father.Yeah, there are teams that have a hard time winning games, and then there are teams that seem just about incapable of beating anyone. Several different levels of bad.
Looks like CSUB has a first year head coach, so probably isn't going to get fired already. Only the 4th coach in program history. Apparently they were fairly successful in D2. Some schools probably shouldn't move up to D1, this being a prime example.
Previous head coach is the father of former Stanford player Erica McCall. He lasted 13 years
Le Moyne beat Long Island 83-53 this morning. Ouch!Speaking of a team that recently moved up to D1, Le Moyne is in the bottom half of the powerhouse NEC. 4-7 in conference and 4-20 overall. They had the honor of getting beaten up by Colorado and USC at the start of the season.
I haven’t been to a game all season. Though I might go see them play CCSU, who is actually in the upper half of their conference ... they’ve won a whopping total of 7 games this year. And one of those was against Le Moyne.
Can we just deregulate an entire conference?

I like this idea but I think the poster is focusing on the terrible teams from the major conferences. I took your idea and did some modifications. Since there are 79 total teams in the Power 4 + Big East I decided that any team with a Massey rating of 80 or lower is considered an "awful" team. With that criteria, the following is a list of awful team:It seems like cheating but I just looked at the bottom of Massey and came up with this. The teams don't really have any fans hereto comment but they qualify as awful.

They were not below 79 at the time I made the list. I see they're sitting at 82 today (and flip flopped places with Mizzou who is now ranked 78). I'll revisit it at the end of the regular season but I am not keeping up with it from week to week.Did you omit TAMU? Or is their fall more recent? Looks like Mizzou has inched up slightly.
It seems like cheating but I just looked at the bottom of Massey and came up with this. The teams don't really have any fans hereto comment but they qualify as awful.

Now that the regular season has ended, here are the final rankings of "awful" teams:I like this idea but I think the poster is focusing on the terrible teams from the major conferences. This makes up 22 of the 79 teams (aka the bottom 28%). Thinking in terms of a bell curve, I think that is a little too many teams in the "awful" category, so I broke it up into percentiles. To me, the bottom 10% seems like a more reasonable metric.
Edit: I colored each team by conference.
