I was at the UCF game yesterday, good view from midcourt, close enough that it was all I could do to restrain myself from shouting out to Aubrey during the quiet moments before she went to take a free throw: "Take That Shot, Aubrey." This after she twice had the ball about 6- 8' from from the hoop, completely open and uncontested. In one case she passed to someone on the perimeter; in the other, she passed to somone who could not get a shot off. Right now she is paralyzed, but I hope she can be convinced that she *must* take such shots. That's the only way she can possibly shoot herself out of that state of mind.
Also, as noted approvingly by others, Anna did drive sharply into the lane (often open during the entire game) and popped in a couple of short jumpers—with, I might add, a very nice arc on her shots! Bravo. I wish Christyn would take notice.
