Just curious, did they announce the attendance for today's game, and if so, what was it?

They announced 34K+, but actual buts in seats were probably around 32K in my not so educated guestimation. Not bad at all for a game against a 1AA team that was postponed. All the hullabaloo about moving it to Saturday seems moot.

Thanks, that's better than I thought it'd be.

I thought attendance was pretty good today. It was tough to get a feel for the total number because so many people were standing behind the red line under the upper deck in order to get out of the sun

That's low considering last weekend ticketmaster had less than 2,800 tickets left.

well, fwiw, this is what the stands looked like after the coin toss at the bc game today...

Where's section T? BC has a notoriously late arriving crowd, did it look better in the 2nd quarter?

^^ it filled in more, but there were plenty of empty seats, and a fairly sizeable number of NU fans. the place emptied out when nu went up 24-10 and there were maybe 15-20k left to see bc have a shot to tie it with under a minute left.

That's the thing. It was against another Boston team.

Can't wait to ssee UMass

Some comps:

TCU/Baylor 43+
NCC/RU 40+
Wake/SU 40+
NU/BC 37+
/UConn 34+
Nova/Temple 32+
UMass/HolyCross 15+

A lot more than the 15k someone said we'd get because of the postponement.

that seems pretty impressive especially when you consider it was postponed and compare it to other games out there.

Now the real question: What % of fans would you say made it in by kickoff? lol

The size of today's crowd wasn't too bad once it filled in. The reschedule really threw some kinks in peoples' plans. As far as the % of fans for kickoff, disappointing as usual. Still a long was to go there. Liked most of the changes to the pre-kickoff routine, but there needs to be some definitive trigger/cue when the team takes the field. I know O Fortuna was Randy's thing, but today's intro/music didn't seem to be in sync.

I think a win at Vandy helps us get a pretty good crowd for Iowa St., given the quality (or perceived quality) of the opponent.

Are you referring to the BC game today? They played northWESTern. Northeastern doesn't even have a football team anymore.
