This is what I clicked into this thread to learn. So basically you're saying that the best Greek pizza is in CT, not Greece, right?

There is no such thing as Greek Pizza in Greece.

The only pizzerias in Greece make the type of pizza you get in Italy, small personal pizzas for one, like at an Italian trattoria.

Loved Athens. Hotel Olympia has open air rooftop dining great views, easy walking to Parthenon. The Greek salads in Greece are different in a better way. First they are huge, next the tomatoes are amazing, 3rd their olive oil is primo, 4th they they serve feta in big blocks. Santorini is crowded and touristy. Loved Milos and Sifnos. I would fly to Milos or any island that has an airport and not take the ferry. Saves time and possible rough seas. Someone wrote it is mountainous. That is true in spades. Hope you like to climb stairs.
