Seems like that happened in 11 & 14. Liam will have to lead them like Kemba & Bazz.I'm still not convinced they can't come together in the next month and win the whole thing. Bill Parcells had a saying about the playoffs - just get in! Anything can happen. They have to work on in bounds passing, time clock awareness, 3 point D and not making ill advised passes. If they come together, everybody jelling, the coaches at their best, they can beat anybody. I'll believe they can't win it all when they are eliminated. Whatever happens, we have nothing to complain about after the last 2 years and our incoming class.
And two games we lost bc of refs who decided to swallow whistles. Very odd that we lost both of them but we have some very good wins. They care about who you can beat. And we lost to Colorado and Seton Hall. Two of the worst teams in a major conference

There are 6 games left for everyone not named Hassan or Alex to learn how to play "UConn basketball". Ball is getting there. Liam is capable of it. Samson and Reed both can contribute but neither is Sanogo or Clingan. That's what we're rolling with. That the exits from the two tournaments isn't as painful as yesterday.
This team can still beat everyone if they stop beating themselves. But it pretty clear that they will lose to the first team that plays tough man to man defense. That's assuming we don't have two or more players have off an shooting night.
We’ll be in the tournament. Relax. The committee doesn’t care about bad calls
You could argue a 10 is better than the 8/9 if the goal is to win 2 games. This team has to go at least 4-2 reg season and win 1 NBE game to ensure a tourney seed above 9 IMHO
As some have said I hope there isn't a collapse.
My wildest dream is to play the 2nd weekend
Realistically - lose a nail biter in round of 32 to a high ranked opponent.
It's the difference between facing Auburn/Duke/Alabama/Florida vs facing Tenn/Houston/Purdue/Texas A&M. Neither group is enticing, but if firing on all cylinders, we could take out a couple in that 2nd group. You could argue a 10 is better than the 8/9 if the goal is to win 2 games.

Even if true, there is almost zero difference in being a 2 or a 3 in the tournament.could not agree more
Purdue has fallen off that two line hard.
Nova has been terrible on the road, 3-8. They’re very inconsistent but with Dixon and Poplar, yeah never know. These could be the two most inconsistent teams in the BE.Bracket Matrix still has UConn as the second 8 seed so the team is long way from Bubble territory. Hopefully guys can re-group & make a push to get a 6 or 7 seed....that should be the realistic goal at this point and then anything can happen in Tourney.
Big game tomorrow night vs Nova, they'll be gunning for us in desperation mode so all better be ready from the tip.
Nothing good to say about the last game. But, I think the good teams we beat, we beat them with a healthy Hassan Diarra. So getting that back is key.Honestly, I'd be happy if we made the NCAA tournament and got out of the first weekend.
I'm nervous about playing Nova tomorrow. There’s probably 4 or 5 teams I wouldn’t want to line up with the first weekend, Bama, Auburn, Duke, Florida, Houston
Not entirely nervous about playing anyone else. Tennessee has Rick Barnes, Purdue? A&M? Iowa St? Mich St?
Line it up and let’s ride! We’re fine!
