I like his experience recruiting and success in Virginia. He has limited time as a QB coach but did well in that role… he seems to have done well in all roles and is an up and coming coach… here’s to many great successes at UConn!

How is the recruiting in Virginia and South Carolina? Hopefully we see a boost there.

"He moved over to VMI from 2013 to 2018 as Robbins worked with the wide receivers and tight ends "

"Sammis spent the 2015 and 2016 seasons as the offensive line coach at Virginia Military Institute (VMI) where he was responsible for the running game and pass protection plans for a tempo run-pass option offense." ... FWIW ?

Can't really get worse in terms of passing QB play. Mostly horrible is atill kinda horrible.

I look forward to exceeding low expectations.
? Kind of a stupid response Bubba

I have no optimism up front.

Until I see an onfield in-game product that resembles modern offense, I'm firmly planted in realism.
So Missouri attitude then:
“SHOW ME”
Yup, 1st game can’t come fast enough!!
Looks like a Sammis hire, Mora wants everyone bought in and on the same page.
Go Huskies!

Guessing it was just something they found with him online. Gives a sense of how he thinks. And heck, if we can see holes that big, I kind of like our runners getting some yardage. As well as cornerbacks don’t tackle our backs!

I can see our RBs getting to the 2nd/3rd levels with either inside or outside zone run plays... one thing he mentioned(i call it emphasized)... technique...
