Diaco was LB/ST coach.....probably had very little daily interaction with Rock since he was OC.

No, but he had a great view of the offense every game.

I know that..Metsfan said Rock was Diaco's boss..just was pointing out that not only did Diaco not directly work for Rick...but didn't have a whole lot of interaction with him during the week because they coached on opposite sides of the ball.

Also listed DC position. Very interesting.
Anybody have any thoughts???? 10 yrs FBS and 3 years NFL playing experience

qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; ten years of full-time experience as a collegiate football coach at the FBS level; working knowledge of the correct application of NCAA regulations; strong commitment to the academic goals of the University; and excellent organizational, teaching, communication and public relations skills.
Preferred Qualifications: three years of playing experience in the NFL .

They posted all the positions (click on original link for additions)... Poor Mets2323 isn't going to be able to finish his Christmas shopping trying to figure all of them out ;)

DL/Recruiting Coordinator - Prefered qualification: Professional Football Coaching Experience??

Some of these job postings are comical. They might as well say, "The candidate should preferably have brown hair and have a last name that rhymes with 'Nerman'." At least I feel good about the fact that it seems that Diaco has his team ready to go (for the most part). That will help us as we come down the stretch in a crucial recruiting period...

QB Coach Preferred Qualifications: three years of Head Coaching experience at the Division I level

QB coach with 3 years of HC'ing experience? Really?

Yeah these positions are already filled....
Check out bio for Chuck Long that I out in a earlier post...he fits this description.

I like that they've decided to search for a DL coach and decided to throw recruiting coordinatror into that job title as well!

God damn the boneyard is impressive. All you need to do, is find that list going back five years, and our next OC is going to be in there - it seems!

I looked at that list , did a little searching and landed on Tom Herman. Ohio and Texas baby. Bring em to Connecticut.

I like this game.
Holy Crap! Could it be the most concise Spack-man post in BY history? Good stuff....

Saw Charlie Molnar jogging at UMASS yesterday. He had some good offenses at Cinci and ND. I'm not hoping for him but did coach with Bobby D

DL and Recruiting Coach? I would love to see Sean Spencer from Vanderbilt. Great recruiter and coach. From New Haven.

Can this guy really be that good? Wow

Another interesting "title":

ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH RUNNING BACK/PLAYER ENGAGEMENT (Specialist IIA) - Responsibilities include: assist the Head Football Coach in the organization and administration of all phases of a Division FBS program including game preparation and the recruitment and evaluation of prospective student-athletes; assist in monitoring academic progress and development of student-athletes; community involvement; and other program duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in coordinating student-athlete development and engagements efforts of a FBS football program.

Whoever figured out that this is Chuck Long, good job. The Boneyard is so much more insightful that the media at times.

I had figured him for the OC spot that's why I posted the wiki link previously...BUT the QB coach description fits his career to a T

Could there be a better name for an OC than "Chuck Long"?

He was a disaster as HC at San Diego State. It's a tough job but he did worse than the guys before or after him.

.-.
I'm not trying to be negative, just wondering if someone can correct me here.

Has Chuck Long does anything well since his final years at Oklahoma 8-9 years ago?
