The interesting thing is the parenthetical "(within the last five years)". I'm wondering if the guy they are going to hire was an OC at a lower-level FBS school and then left two years ago to take on a lesser position at a higher-level FBS school.

Could also mean somebody that was an OC at a 1A school, and went to be a head coach at 1-AA, or took a position, in the NFL, or was out of football.......

I looked at that list , did a little searching and landed on Tom Herman. Ohio and Texas baby. Bring em to Connecticut.

The only thing about Cummings is he is an OL coach. The OC is also going to have to coach a position...I can't see Mike Foley staying at UCONN unless he is going to be coaching the OL.

I really like this guys credentials. He was also recently a WR coach at Purdue and coached special teams for many years.

Diaco was LB/ST coach.....probably had very little daily interaction with Rock since he was OC.
