It was supposed to be one of their best teams in years. They had high expectations and Hurley said before the season started they were a lot better than us. We would crush them.

was really inefficient though. his shooting percentage was in the low 30's i think

they have top 100 recruits up and down the roster. not that that always translates into success, but you usually have a higher floor at least than they seem to

Creighton beat Oklahoma.

If you want to see what happens when you join a major conference, look at Creighton. They went from being the little engine that could to being a consistent Top 40 program in the Big East. They are recruiting at a reasonably high level, and today's win is not even an upset.

Next year's conference schedule is going to be a lot of fun.

Everyone besides Providence is in line for either an NCAA or NIT bid.

Temple totally blew that too. Up 1 NPL shooting a 1-1, misses the front end then fouls a Miami kid on a bad pump fake. Miami guy drills both for the 1 point W.

The SEC has bubbled up out of football stardom into a bit of a basketball presence early this season but I'm not sure they can sustain it. I find it interesting to watch a football conference scatter the AP hoops top 25.

St. Mary’s isn’t bad, but yea definitely an ugly loss for ASU. Weird season for Bobby’s team, it’s like they figure it out one game and then regress the next...reminds me of another Jersey native who sees the expectations of his team change week to week (thankfully I really don’t see us getting clobbered like ASU did...knock on wood). Maybe both brothers will get some words of wisdom from their HOF father on Christmas.

Bill needs to be set off to the moon to follow his thoughts; The Mandalorian code does not allow him to be brought back and we shall never send a ship to see him return.

Squid has Ohio State and Louisville coming up. He could head into conference play with a 9-4 record and only one quality win, and it isn't like the SEC provides a lot of quality opponents.

Kentucky looked awful, that Utah team is bad and their point guard looks like he's 10 years old. I can't remember a year with so few good teams.

I've always liked Walton but he was unbelievably annoying last night.
