women's hoops style, is currently on CBS Sports Network, for anyone that needs a hoops fix. The teams look tiny, but they play hard and smart.

Navy up 19-15 early in the second quarter.

The teams aren't that small; the camera is angled down, which throws off the perception.

It's a back and forth game with a series of mini runs for each team. Currently 28-27 Navy. This is a pretty well played game - they just don't have the shooters we're used to seeing. Nice ball movement by both, and a nice clean game.

Question for you: do you know what is happening with the great Army player of last year....I forget her name. I think she tried out for some WNBA team....and didn't make it. I vaguely recall she might have been assigned to Fort Carson?

Always a competitive game. I very much enjoy the post game ceremonies and respect shown by the academies after a game.

It's 33-32 Army early in the 2nd half.

The game is being played in Annapolis and the stands are packed with midshipmen, and they're really into the game. It makes a great atmosphere.

My favorite non-UCONN player Kelsey Minato took leave from the Army to try out for the San Antonio this spring but unfortunately she was cut. I do not know where she is stationed but I was told that she is doing exactly what she wanted to do-serve her country. Those that know her well say they would not be surprised if that service last 20 or 30 years.
