Which leads to the questions of his backups or the coaches making the evaluations.
As soon as we are ineligible for a bowl he should sit. Boyle throws a far better ball. I believe the coaches that maybe he isn't ready, but Whitmer just is infuriating.

What is the use of having a football program at this point if you can't be competitive with Army?

Reminder for everyone.

There isn't any attempt from this staff this year to game plan for a win. This year is all about player development and evaluation. Any success on the field is merely coincidental.

This game is a complete coaching fail. Not having Foxx out there at QB and we are throwing swing passes to our wideouts when we have seen they can defend them and cream our wideouts. The whole staff is in a brain cramp.

If UConn doesn't win out, they're ineligible. I guess there's a rationale for expecting the things that led to 2-6 going 4-0 the rest of the year but I don't see it.

Whitmer is fugging terrible.

He's an average quarterback at best. Sometimes I think he blackmails the coaches for playing time. Boyle and even Foxx can't be that much worse to favor Whitmer so much. Finally force a fourth down. Time for Foxx. I'm done with Whitmer.

We forced a punt!

And I think i saw Bill Bellichick sitting in the stands. Or just some old dude in a grey hoodie.

This so called energy vampire of a coach.

This team plays with zero energy. Zero intensity. Slow moving as hell.

The only effort put into today was making it appear Army has a tough defense to move the ball on.

I think we say against UCF that this team struggles to stop the run. I don't care what type of offense they are running, if Army were that good at it they wouldn't be 2-6. Summers and Williams are playing too soft. Have to be able to break a block from the receiver and come up and make a play.

We need a big play on offense. Something to get us going.

You finally put Foxx in now that your down 2 scores and you probably need to start throwing. Makes no sense. Then we are moving the ball and have a 3rd and 1 and you bring Whitmer back in. Why???

I saw a couple of pass plays where he could've clearly gotten the ball to an open WR sooner... He doesn't seem to get thru his progressions fast enough.. I gotta give him some props though.. He's still fighting out there... He's a "ya are what ya are" guy out there but he continues to fight....

Apparently the Army defense knows how to play and read the option on defense better than we do.

the crazy part about this game it's CLEAR that if we lined up to run the football we probably could... all day long.. Their D can't stop us either... We stop ourselves with the bulls**t playcalling....

We have gone from a team that wouldn't throw against USF to a team that seems to exclusively throw and abandons the running game way too soon.

I would like to see Foxx throw it. Maybe there have been plays called for him to do that (this game or UCF) and he chose not to.
