Can anyone explain yhe logic behind giving Foxx zero time at QB? We can dominate this Army team with the spread option but we've elected to go with the philosophy that's yielded 6 losses.

We'd have at least 14 points if we worked him in on some of those drives. That Delorenzo run is prime example.

Apparently in Diaco's mind, it makes more sense to stick with a conventional offense when the other team is gashing our defense with option all day. Apparently preaching and enforcing "fundamentals" is far more important than doing whatever it takes to outscore the other team.

.-.
Looks like we didn't make any defensive adjustments at the half.

I'lol probably get slammed for this, but I am not impressed with almost any coaching decision I have seen this season from Diaco. Looks totally overrated. Also, his sideline demeanor is very "skitzoid" and not conducive to projecting confidence.

Foxx to play some QB 2nd half, according to BD halftime interview

If you keep letting the safeties sit back 10 yds deep at the snap the results won't change. At least move up to 7 yds off the los at the snap.

Our DLs should not be scraping along LOS mirroring the QB, get up there and make him pitch it damn it.

That last third down is how you do it damn it. Make him pitch the dogdamnd ball

Nothing personal, but I don't want to see Whitmer or Boyle for the rest of the game. Keep Foxx in there all-half.

At the game. Exactly right, just destroy the qb every play. Eventually he gives it up every play.

#46 is hurting. No agessive pursuit on the last Army TD. Too bad. I like Vann.

Look, Army's offense is defensible. If it wasn't, every stinking team would run it. We don't have whatever combo of players/coaches that can do that. This really is amazingly bad on UConn's part.

Someone on the field needs to make that decision and take it into their own hands.

at this point we need Fox in there Whitmer just not enough of a threat to run.

Whitmer is fugging terrible.

Which leads to the questions of his backups or the coaches making the evaluations.

I was so optomistic about our chances today, but when you're down 21-7 in the 3rd quarter getting dominated, running that bulls**t lateral pass play garbage and running draw plays when the opposing team has their ears pinned back, it just makes you wonder WTF are the coaches doing? WE're playing like we have no fight in the dog at all... It pisses you off watching this bulls**t... seriously....

And starting next year we get to play Navy every year and see a game just like this one. Lovely.
