AEH shooting tonight. Not really hitting anything but shooting. She does have two assists though.

I think tonight was the first time I ever saw her crash for an offensive rebound and scored off of it. Her and Bibby are missing some pretty open looks from 3. She is playing hard though so good for her.

It's disturbing to me how many open 3's the two of them have missed. Bibby finally got one and Matharu has offset their misses, but State would be much more dangerous if those two could find their strokes.

AEH has played well tonight. She is playing better all around.

I've noticed you seem to love to hate on AEH. Is it personal?

What you think you've noticed and what is reality are two separate things. Be glad you're allowed to talk about the Bulldogs on a UConn board.

Matharu is the key piece for the post season if she can continue to knock down outside shots. She can be erratic but she can take over a game all by herself the way she shoots sometimes.

Impressive that this has mostly been done without Rickea Jackson

Our time management at the end of quarters needs to improve.

.-.
MSU holding for the last shot of the quarter (actually a 3 second difference) and J Danberry drives in and shoots with 16 seconds.

Arkansas with a few quick buckets to cut the lead to 11. With the way they shoot 3's, way too much time.

Vic did me proud in this game. I figured he could expose the dirty secret of Arkansas, namely that their defense is horrible.

Good game for MSU. This may be just what they needed to end their recent funk.

Ha your narrative on them keeps changing. I thought it was they couldn't win...

Win or lose.... they are rowdy and rambunctious .... be it Hokies, Bulldogs, NCA&T Aggies, Wolfpack .... etc :p

Don't invite any other team to the SEC tourney apart from South Carolina, Mississippi State, and Arkansas. Those are the 3 who keep things exciting. The others play are often too ugly to watch.

Alabama says hello, they hot right now. Arkansas isn't all that pretty either, they recently lost to Florida. They can go hot or cold depending on the day. They shot well for the most part tonight but still was trailing 10+ for really the whole game. My issue with Arkansas is their system of street ball jacking up 3's isn't consistent formula in the Long run

MSU and SC are the two best teams in the SEC though.

Wow. Something that you and I *almost* agree on :D

But I do have a spot in my heart for LSU this season.

How are you going to have a tourney w/ 3 teams? Round robin? Just hope they don't all go 1-1.

We slugged it out against the power house Vandy squad at home, that had us on the ropes before we came back in the 4th. Vandy I feel is so close but just cannot get over that hump. So many close games this year that have completely fallen apart for them in the 4th quarter.

We are doing the best we can do but we clearly aren close to the same caliber team without Mitchell. We have too many holes that can't be replaced with her absence.

It was a good overall game for A Espinoza-Hunter and A Matharu. I wouldn’t have expected those two to play such a big role tonight. I would have thought A Espinoza-Hunter would have been too slow to play defense. However her length and size really impacted Arkansas. She also did a good job on the midrange jumpers and running the offense. She didn’t get tempted at the end to take the shot on the fast break but pulled it out to run the clock. I would have thought A Matharu would get too sped up and caught up in Arkansas’s style. Congratulations to both.

I liked LSU a lot until they lost Mitchell. Not their fault their best player went down, but fact is they dropped 2 games they should've won because of that.

Yeah.... all those missed shots created so many rebounds (38 of them) for MSU. They could've done better if they could rebound those but when they can't, not even 11 threes can save them.

Are you kidding with this comment? If not, guess where you can go with it?

Did AEH steal your lollipop?
