A lot of people on the Boneyard discredit the AAC; that UConn is too good to be a member. There are 5 teams better than UConn in the AAC every year.

Ignorance and pride.

UConn fans should stop trashing the AAC and start supporting it. This league, in both basketball and football, can in a few years become as strong, top to bottom, as any P5 conference.

The direction and goal of every AD in the AAC should not be to covet and chase becoming a member of a P5 conference.

It should be to put all resources into turning the AAC into THE P5 level conference, and then tell all those dbags to bend over.

Been saying it for a while now, that excuse about not being able to recruit in the AAC doesn’t hold much water when programs like Houston and SMU have actually gotten better and Cincy hasn’t missed a step.
