No it was correct, they are much more 1's than 2's.

That would mean they are 2s (SGs). Not 1s (PGs).

Whenever someone prefaces a statement with, "not to sound preachy," that inevitably means they're being 'preachy'!! But if you say so!!

Eric said "Not to sound terribly preachy". The terribly makes a world of difference in the meaning. See, he meant to sound peachy. .. just not terribly so. Now, it all depends on the usage and context of the word "terribly". Is it meant in the context of overly or extremely? Or in the context of unpleasantly or appallingly? That is open to debate.

This English is such an imprecise language.
