Don't want to get into an insult thread. You are entitled to your opinion . To date, Cinci has been a much better program then us. I don't think anyone is arguing. But please don't say your intentions were to talk football and not flame, because that is ridiculous. Just check out the title of your thread.k
If you or anyone would like to talk football I'm more than down. I asked someone earlier why Arkeel Newsome is such a playmaker.. No reply.

If UConn pulls out probably the biggest upset since Michigan and Appy State I will drive home from the game, log onto this website and eat my crow in full. I don't think that'll happen, though.

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my original post. That's my fault. You're new here, so I should make sure that I fully explain what I'm talking about. Therefore:

UConn = The glove
Cincy = The mouth

In summation, you're going to get punched in #@king mouth...

Interesting. That is quite an honor. I ask this seriously and I promise you I'm not trying to insult Newsome because he does seem like a good back but Rivals reports his only other offer was UMass and I thought players in the game typically have dozens of offers. I know that offers are irrelevant and don't always indicate how good a player is but players in those all star games just always seem to have a bunch of schools hot on their tail.

I guess we'll see about that. It's about time UConn punches Cincinnati in the face considering the recent blowouts. I highly doubt this will happen.

I agree it doesn't sound like it'd be good, but trust me.....it is. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

It's a Greek version of Bolognese sauce. And then they sprinkle yellow cheese on it. Is it awful, not really. But it sure ain't chili.

Personally, I don't like it. Every time I've had Skyline, the spaghetti is overcooked. And honestly, it would taste much better if not using that yellow cheese blend. Heck, that might even be a potential use for that god-awful Provel cheese used on St. Louis pizza.

So because my team is 3-3 this year that means I can't say a thing? Just because of a bad 6 game stretch? Okay. Can I come here and talk about the four game winning streak the Bearcats of Cincinnati have over the UConn Huskies? Or the 8-2 record Cincinnati has over UConn since 2005? I know it's hard being a UConn football fan because the team/program is an embarrassment but you font have to take it out on me.
yeah, that's all good stuff ----- "greatest upset in college football history" is a tad over the top....

Guessing you don't realize that the Parade All American is not an All Star Game?

My mistake. I missed that. Still, I figured he'd have more offers with that honor. Rivals could be wrong, though.

Nope - Rivals is right as far as offers. He 's a Connecticut native and committed to UConn early. He's also 26th in the country in All Purpose Yards so far this year.

I see Hayden Moore really rocked those offers coming out of high school as well eh?

I'm not here to degrade the guy for not having offers. I was just curious.
Having plenty of offers does not guarantee success.

Hey look, Cinci has had a decent program. Nobody in Ohio seems to give a , but they've been pretty good historically. They're also stuck in this conference forced to watch us win championships, have a 20 win "down" year, only to load up on talent and be right back in the hunt for another national championship for the next few years.

Our football team has been terrible the past few years. But we just had our QB run for over 100 yards and throw for over 300 yards...in one game. But you know, we have no playmakers. Nevermind the fact that the last -6 years it would have taken our QB 3 games to put up the number Shirreffs (a sophomore) put up in one game this week.

We're on the upswing. It might not be this year, but Cinci's going down soon.

Are we on the basketball board? I have nothing but respect for the UConn basketball programs. They are elite and everything about UConn basketball is big time. How that related to this thread, I don't know.

There is a lot that you don't know, why stop there?

like.... who is the bearcats starting QB? you don't know.
You're right, I do not know that. I do know that it doesn't matter which one starts because they both are capable of winning this game for Cincinnati by 50-60 points. FWIW, I'm pretty sure it'll be Gunner Kiel.

Well, FWIW, one day you'll realize how big of a loser you have to be to come here to talk trash to fans of a team you think you can beat by 50-60 without knowing your starting QB.

At the end of the day, Cinci is a mediocre program that will always be an afterthought in their own state, with nothing to fall back on other than trash talking fans of a basketball school. So yeah, good for you buddy. We're not good at football right now, but until we are, we'll settle for winning multiple national championships.

We probably need to set aside a safe zone for the tweeners that want to post here with the adults. On the other hand, I guess we should be grateful for an opportunity to pull off the biggest upset in the history of college football. I guess the line will be somewhere near 50 by game time?

Some of the sports books don't even put a line out for games like these where a 70 point beat down could very well happen. Check Bovada and some of the other sites Thursday or Friday and see what it looks like.

Somebody posted that the line opened at 13, although I haven't actually looked it up myself. I think that seems about right and I would expect to see it shift slightly towards Cinci by kickoff. We're able to move the ball fairly well between the 20s but stall in the red zone. In order to hang within 2 TDs, we'll need to find some red zone magic that we haven't had yet this season.

Nope! 100% wrong! We've been playing in the same league for a decade and UConn has never won in Cincinnati. Want to know why? Because Cincinnati typically has the far superior players.
You are right. It was at UConn the game I was thinking of ( I think it was 2008 the year before your great run to a major bowl game). I have already been corrected by others on the boneyard.

Bro, come on now. You're really making yourself look like an idiot. The line is 12.5 across the board. These kind of upsets happen weekly. Not saying UConn wins, but to continually call this a potential massive upset and the biggest since App State is ludicrous. http://www.sportsbookreview.com/betting-odds/college-football/

Wow. Only 12.5? Are you sure that was the entire game or did you accidently go on one of those sites that lets you bet quarter to quarter and you just saw the first quarter spread? If that is the entire game then we all need to be putting massive amounts of money on the Cats. It'll take a little sting out of the beating Saturday.

Be serious, "massive amounts" is what to you? Did you put in some OT this past week at Burger King? I don't care what anyone here will tell you, I think that it is a GREAT thing that U of Cincinnati and Burger King have partnered up in a collaborative post-graduation job placement program.

Better watch out AACREIGNS....the line opened at 13.5 and has already dropped to 12.5.

Looks like the sharps are starting to bet on UConn and pushing this line down to get more action on Cincy.

I'm telling your Mom you're bothering the adults again, AACREIGNS.
She's going to come downstairs into the basement and take your computer away. You already lost your World of Warcraft and Minecraft privileges. Stop while you're ahead.

I guess never say never but that would be on of the biggest upsets in college football history.

Last I checked we were a 13 pt dog. It would be a huge win for our program. In order to pull off the upset our D will have to have it's best game. We held Missou to 9 pts but their qb and offense is not as good as Cincy. Our offense will need to score in the Red zone. That will be accomplished because Cinci's D is not ask good as Missouri's. UCONN is going to be a very mad dog going into Nippert.
