Are we underestimating the Big East?

Where would Cignetti go? He showed in a year or two he could make Indiana the best in the sport and he gets paid nearly $12 million per year.
12 m. That’s crazy. He’s getting paid more than nfl coaches. Just a sign of the times in college sports. The nfl can’t compete . Lol

I put on another thread earlier in the year that the NBE should have merged with the WCC. UConn and Gonzaga would have been the highlight matchup. St Mary’s against Villanova or St Johns depending on which one is the team of the moment. Not sure it I makes sense any more with the Zags leaving. But would have provided a national audience and the teams pretty much match up.
Prob with zags is they are Few. When he leaves…. Look at Butler. Back to back NC games, then coach leaves…

Wcc is nothing without them

Villanova seems to be much better than I anticipated. Cheers to willard and shame on 3 wasted on the clown
Watched Nova the other night and they were better than another game I viewed. Seton Hall on the other hand was inept offensively and while they defend well and hard, rebounding is an issue. Back to Nova, like a few Big East teams I think they’re capable but if our Huskies take care of things I don’t see an issue. Problem is our guys have the targets on their backs every game which often results in the other teams A game.

Overall the Big East isn’t great but there’s a few Top 40-50 teams who can be trouble.

Stave off the round one uppercuts and win it in the 10th round as the other team exhausts.

Yeah no doubt thats what the coaching staff sees. This UConn team will win a boatload of games but they wont decisively put away most NBE teams wire to wire
