Even though I am not a UConn fan, I am very appreciative of this board and the great discussions about women’s basketball for UConn and in general. I understand how committed and passionate UConn fans have been for many years because of your success. Once we started getting success, I was hooked. Now I see what I was missing all these years. Started following gamecock women basketball about 12 years ago. Before then I didn’t care. So hats off to the moderators and organizers of this board.

It amazes me how this site (Uconn and General boards now) has grown and continues to be the best spot for WCBB. I do visit other team sites, especially around the time we have games against, and am constantly a little disappoint in the activity on the sites.

One issue is not enough participation on a site - often less than on the general board.

The other issue is often the moderation - two much vitriol towards coaches and player and other teams, and too much squabbling between posters making threads boring.

And I enjoy the interactions with other teams' knowledgeable fans - something really rare on other team boards.

The moderators on the Boneyard keep it civil, and relatively focused on the topic. Not fun when you get 'called to order', but makes the site so much better.

Have appreciated Dawn when I first encountered her as a player... and then watched her Temple team get an "out-coached" win against CViv's Rutgers team.

There are many similarities between Geno and Dawn - and the Pat and Geno dynamic.

Here's to growing the game, no injuries and exciting rivalries.

Thank you for expressing OUR appreciation of the the mods. While we all grumble a bit under our breaths when we get curbed , (Yes, I have been), the mods have created a space where women’s basketball can be freely discussed -without rancour.

As for tonight: May we have an injury free contest that adds to the legend of women’s basketball for both teams and the sport in general.
