Oh yeah, LSU jumped us?
something is off... There is also mid major Louisiana school that jumped 22 places up. Could be the error that caused UConn to not move> Maybe they received some of the UConn votes.

LSU is a few points ahead. It's just how the math played out.

Anyone see a problem with the #4 team :)

Surprising that LSU that high given where they are in NET and Massey. I realize those syst
UConn is fifth in both Massey and Net. That’s where they belong.
And strangely enough, LSU is 15 NET and 12 Massey

With UCONN's weak schedule the past couple of weeks, they had little chance to improve their resume. Other teams played tough opponents, allowing them to leapfrog in the rankings.

Agree, also think Michigan, like Indiana was earlier, very overrated. After the BE tournament, and a sound thrashing of all comers, the Huskies might have a shot at a #1 seed. Obviously. what plays out in other league tournaments will be a huge factor. Like the Providence coach said, "say your prayers"!

Have to hand it to Mulkey. She's made that team move. It goes pretty small as well. Other than Hannah Gusters, who is 6'5", there's only player who contributes who's over 6' at 6'2".

Wow both of Coach Mulkey's previous and current teams are ranked ahead of us!

On edit: LSU puts the rankings of opponents on the schedule but it’s the rank at the time the game was played (UConn does the same). A lot of teams that were showing as ranked no longer are. However, LSU beat #8 Iowa State and #18 Tenn (on the road). While both teams lost to So Carolina, LSU’s game was only a 6 point difference while UConn lost by 16.

Didn’t Connecticut beat Tennessee with a depleted sick team by double digits. Why does this game carry so much weight for LSU

I doubt Connecticut will make it to a one seed but they should be a two seed right now. It’s hard to take these rankings and bracket seriously.
