Louisville sounds like Louisiana. Sort of.
Yes, but that victory over Tennessee three weeks ago enabled UCONN to jump up to #6 . Since then, they haven't been able to move up anymore.Didn’t Connecticut beat Tennessee with a depleted sick team by double digits. Why does this game carry so much weight for LSU
We’ll get a read out of what the committee thinks at halftime of the Baylor-Iowa St game tonight. That’s the only bracket projection that matters. I think they’ll have UConn as a 2 seed in Bridgeport.I doubt Connecticut will make it to a one seed but they should be a two seed right now. It’s hard to take these rankings and bracket seriously.
And NET has Baylor at 10 and LSU at 15. AP has both of them ahead of UConn. Go figure.UConn is fifth in both Massey and Net. That’s where they belong.
Over the past two weeks UConn’s SOS base fallen from 3rd to the mid 20s according to Massey. They haven’t shown anything to computers . . .With UCONN's weak schedule the past couple of weeks, they had little chance to improve their resume. Other teams played tough opponents, allowing them to leapfrog in the rankings.
I like the logic, UConn should be ranked #5 in the AP poll...for reason their NET and Massey both have them ranked 5th. After all Louisville's NET and Massey's rank are both 4th...the AP writers have Louisville ranked 4th...it's so easy even a caveman can do the math, c'mon AP/Coaches voters.UConn is fifth in both Massey and Net. That’s where they belong.
OK... good point...Over the past two weeks UConn’s SOS base fallen from 3rd to the mid 20s according to Massey. They haven’t shown anything to computers . . .
Now, as to the eyeball test . . .
Both named for French kings names Louis (though not the same one, I believe).Louisville sounds like Louisiana. Sort of.
