2 ridiculous things: Syracuse still receiving a lot of votes and Villanova getting more votes than Furman.
How bout this guy: John Bednarowski at College Poll Tracker

Ranked Syracuse 12th last week going into 2K, they go 0-2 (with a loss to Oregon), and then drops them to 15.

Ranked Oregon 13th last week going into 2K, they go 1-1 (beating Syracuse), and he drops them to 17.

lol

So many of these people are so bad at voting. It's really unbelievable

It's a start.

Win the next 4 games and they will be in the top-25 entering the week of 12/3. The next 3 games won't tilt the scale, but beating Arizona will definitely put them in the top-25.

No UConn in the Coaches Poll, but hey do have Cuse at #31 and Oregon ahead of Iowa...

Last year we would have lost to both Cuse and Oregon/Iowa. We also would have needed OT to beat Morehead and only beaten UMKC by single digits. I am quite pleased to see UConn's name pop up in any poll this early on into the Hurley era.

By that standard we're still pretty low:

Though, keep in mind, KenPom hasn't flushed last season out entirely, and won't for a while (5-10 more games, I think).
True, should've just stuck with AP Poll, but that KenPom number did a really good job illustrating just how far we had fallen last year.

In terms of the AP Poll, this is the first time UConn is getting votes since Week 2 of the 2016-17 season. First time getting ranked beyond Week 2 since the 2015-16 season. Reminds me how KO's teams were always ranked preseason post-championship and they always fell out within the first few weeks of the season.

Hopefully Hurley can keeps things rolling here heading into the Arizona game - that could be a game where the winner ends up in the top 25.
