Can't see So Carolina 6th even with the upset loss to Duke. I would have them 3rd or 4th with Notre Dame below them.
I watched part of the So Carolina vs Minnesota game and they demolished them by 40 points. They are not the 6th ranked team.

Feasts and Famine.... some weeks you lose to unranked teams sometimes you beat them by 40. They will have more than enough chances to move up as the year goes on. No need to rush.

I think KSU should be in the top 25.
Tenn. has zero pts.... LOL.

Don't know where exactly they were ranked last week, but K-State is now 28th in the poll. Not a single vote for Tennessee. Is that a "never seen before" thing?

K-State will be moving up. So, too, Texas. Should be a lot of back-and-forth for the second fifteen teams in the poll.

Actually glad we're #6. This team still has ways to go but defensively we looked better yesterday and shot the ball very well. I have never seen SC shoot 16 threes before in my life so I was glad to see the team shooting well from beyond the arch. If we can get that type of production a little more consistently( about 8 3's per game 40% beyond the arc) then I don't think there's a team in the country that can beat us other then UCONN. That scoring production from the perimeter along with Wilson and Coates paint scoring no coach would be able to game plan against that other then Geno and even then it would be a small margin of victory for either team. If Dawn gets this team to stay foucused and locked in game in and game out there is no doubt this team will make the final four.

As long as Duke is not in their Region!

That's been the story for how long now at South Carolina? If they can consistently get guard play and shoot the ball well from the perimeter they are the toughest team to beat.

If we could shoot over 60 percent, defend the 3 point shooters and keep them under 25 percent, and out rebound on both ends all opponents ---wins would be a lot easier. Just Saying!!!

I said this weeks ago... we're not ready for the spotlight. We need to sit and steam at #6 for a bit... play under the radar. Maybe we'll come out with some fire for the rest of the season like we did for that Minnesota game.

As the season progresses... I have a feeling that Duke loss wont appear to be so bad of one. Just a feeling ..

well, the AAC doesn't offer much competition for UConn, but you can't critique the Huskies' OOC schedule. Florida State, Maryland, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Texas, DePaul, South Carolina, and USF can be tough in-conference. All of that only helps every team involved, UConn especially, to understand completely what kind of team it is this season.
