We're tied with Tennessee for 25th in the Coaches Poll. Seton Hall got a few votes, but nothing on the AP.
That's a surprising discrepancy, to have SHU 28th in one poll and lower than 40th in another. Apparently not a single one of 62 AP voters included Seton Hall in their ballot, but plenty, possibly most, of the 32 coaches did. We're tied with Tennessee for 25th in the Coaches Poll. Yeah the only game he watched was when they lost to some team from Canada in the BahamasHaha Auburn gets 11 more #1 votes that Gonzaga but still ends up 2.
One guy ranked them 9th.
I hate this take that ranking’s don’t matter. It matter way more than people think. Perhaps most importantly, it matters to the players who work 10 hours a day to win games. You think they don’t care about that “meaningless” number? It’s a big deal.UConn just needs to win
That will take care of all the ranking BS

Helps in recruiting and perception of the program when you are in the top 25. You get instant exposure everywhere.
