Anyone watching lousiville- dayton?

Interesting game insomuch as the winner is UConn's next opponent in he Albany regional finals.

If Dayton pulls this off, does Jim Jabir deserve a whole bunch of $$$ at another school?

Right now, it's a tight game at the under-4:00. 24-23 Dayton with Louisville surging just a bit.

29-28 Dayton at halftime. Dayton has some nice interior offense, including in transition, albeit little perimeter scoring thus far. Obviously, lots of basketball to be played yet, but to this point, I'm not seeing a big threat to UConn at all.

Dayton may win but they commit too many fouls and turnovers. Deadly combination against UConn. They had 14 TO's and 10 Fouls in the 1st half otherwise they lead by double digits. I'm surprised at how slow Louisville is playing this game as they have the quickness to exploit Dayton.

Hope I don't Jinx Dayton, but so far only 1 TO in 2nd half.

Man, Dayton is spending a LOT of time at the FT line. That may be Louisville 's undoing.

Gotta give some respect to Dayton. They're looking like the real [non-UConn] Queen of the Mid-Majors.

Actually, there are elements here that remind me of how UConn plays this year. The love of pace, some good passes, a decent interior-outside balance, and so forth. It's just that they've also got some more wrinkles, like turnovers and being foul-prone.

Dayton so far 3 TO's in 2nd half compared to 14 in 1st Half. That's why they're leading the game. Also too good at the Free Throw line. Louisville can't use fouls to cut into the lead. Will Have to hit some 3 point shots and stop Dayton.

Refs calling a tight game - think the publicity after the last game had some effect. Dayton is well coached. And their band is awesome, lots of fun.
