Beans on toast is a very common U.K. meal for folks without lots of ££s. Say “Heinz” to a Brit and you're likely to hear them finish the jingle with “means beans.”. Others will sing, “Beans means Heinz!”.

Their Heinz vegetarian beans are not loaded with high fructose corn syrup, so you can actually taste the beans.

I've never seen my British spouse put beans on a pizza.
