I believe his "shock the world" will be him and Shabazz Muhammad committing at the same exact time to KY.

Not so shocking...

Perhaps the tweet had nothing to do at all with where he's committing?

There are Pc fans who think they are the shocker in this tweet...kind of funny

.-.
The recruiting gurus seem to be completely in the dark in terms of true "insider" information. Kudos to Nerlens for keeping it a secret thus far. Rarely happens, no matter how hard the recruits may try.

This is like the trade deadline. One coach just mentioned the possibility of a "mystery" team for Nerlens Noel. Tonight needs to hurry up.

That tweet makes it sound like Scott Boras is steering Noel somewhere

It sure does. Honestly it behooves ESPN's ratings for crap like this.

If some of these people who scrape out a living as recruiting 'analysts' took three steps back and saw what their life's work was, I think they'd shoot themselves.

Honestly, can you imagine a big day at the office entailing wondering where an 18-year old kid was going to go to college?

Unfortunately yes.

I got your shocker right here.

The interesting part about this recruitment is that nobody really has any clue where he's going. Nobody would be schoked at any outcome.

Wasn't "shock the world" a UConn line after beating Duke for 99 national championship? Probably a coincidence but still ironic.

Actually it was said just BEFORE the game by Khalid El-Amin to a CBS reporter. That took guts and was before it became almost routine for guys to "promise" or "guarantee" major upsets without justification. Khalid and UConn backed it up!

It does make you wonder if NN was using similar language....by design. Though if so, he must have studied some history, since he was only about 5 years old at the time...lol

And UCLA for Shabazz. Kentucky's actually going 0-2 tonight. Who would have thought that was possible?

Khalid said it after the game, he ran up to Nantz and screamed it. You can hear it on the live game video.

Khalid repeated it after the game...but what made it bold was that he originally said it, on air, BEFORE the game prior to coming out on the court. Don't forget, Duke was being picked by just about everyone, because they had been blowing teams away all season.
